Race 1
(5) DRIVE 'EM COWBOY debuts for hot connections off the claim; veteran has speed and deserves respect. (3) R CAAN isn't what he used to be and is still shut out on the season yet must be considered. (2) DREAMZZZZ R FOR U raced very well last out, his first start for new connections.
Race 2
(7) HOMICIDE HUNTER has been razor-sharp in his last two local races and only needs a halfway-decent trip here to convert. (3) BUEN CAMINO has quietly had a solid season for Smedshammer and he had good trot at both ends last week. (8) HEMI SEELSTER looks for three straight and he can live on the rim, which he may have to do from this spot.
Race 3
(2) MONEY MAVEN takes a needed drop from Open company where he was overmatched in his last few; he shows a win versus similar a few back. (7) PRIME POWER N was sent to the lead in his third U.S. start and wasn't totally done before that break at the top of the stretch; player. (6) LUMINOSITY beat weaker last out and the Burke trainee has plenty of back class.
Race 4
(6) J A T O raced well at this level two back and gets a meaningful driver change here to Dube. (11) THERAPUTIC returns locally and the veteran has performed well here in the past. (9) AUSPICIOUS HANOVER has been sharp out of town making his way up the class ladder.
Race 5
(6) CHARLES VII blew away cheaper in his local return, which also happened to be his first start with Banca; he'll need more today but seems capable of repeating. (9) NON STICK seemed to be going nowhere when she broke in her last local appearance but I'll consider her with Dube driving. (4) BAGS FOR ALL rallied nicely in his local debut for the Burke barn.
Race 6
(5) LASER LEO has some talent but keeps misbehaving; one day the Banca trainee is going to be in the mood and take care of business. (1) DIAL A CHIC gets much-needed post relief. (6) VALLEY GLIDER never wins but he stays flat and has some early speed.
Race 7
(2) I C CAVIAR moves to the Banca barn, gets Bartlett in the bike and has performed well here in the past. (1) ME THE BOSS could show more in his second local start for Allard. (3) GREAT EMANCIPATOR is another with a poor win record but he did hit the ticket in his last two.
Race 8
(5) ANOTHER BREATH has been solid in defeat in his last two at The Meadowlands for his new trainer; sharp sort can score here. (6) MONROE COUNTY broke in the pocket last week and his prior effort was rather flat but he does drop in class today. (2) SWEET JUSTICE can always be counted on for a share.
Race 9
(2) FAD FINANCE has been slow to get underway this season but her last few have been better and this looks like a pretty good spot today. (1) STORMONT PARK rallied well once shaking free last week. (8) TAKE MY PICTURE drops in class and has the early speed to be put into play early; Brennan's choice.
Race 10
(4) ULTIMATE SHOPPER behaved herself last week and jogged; obvious threat to repeat. (1) LIMERENCE did break in his Yonkers start two back but he's another Svanstedt trainee who gets Dube in the bike today. (3) MUSCLES ON FIRE rallied well last out and can be a late threat again.
Race 11
(1) AMELIOSI has been very good in his last couple, including coming up just short to the tough Speed It last week; this looks like a perfect spot for the Melander trainee. (5) SOUTHWIND FLASH ships in from The Meadows for Burke, and he's been racing well. (2) JIMMY WILLIAM is a clear threat from top connections but he was very erratic last week; use caution.
Race 12
(7) CARTOON DADDY has never been one of my favorites but he hasn't put in a bad effort in ages. (1) FASHION DELIGHT dropped to this level, took the money but couldn't deliver, and now he's missed some time; use caution. (2) SAM'S ESCAPE is better than he's been showing recently.
