Race 1
(8) HOMICIDE HUNTER has taken four straight in game fashion and is proven here at this distance; outside post presents a bit of a problem but he should still get it done. (7) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN has come up a bit short in his last two but still looms a solid threat. (9) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN is back in top form and he can rally for share at a healthy price.
Race 2
(3) MONEY MAVEN isn't the most reliable horse out there but he fits very well with these and Stratton did win with him four back. (4) RUBBER DUCK had a useful effort last week and the talented trotter should be ready to fire his best today. (1) KINETIC KING was way back last out after breaking but he's a solid closer when he behaves.
Race 3
(9) ROSE RUN SYDNEY raced well last week versus some top trotters at The Meadowlands and he was a sharp winner here last month; big threat with a smooth second-tier trip. (4) MADMAN HALL has a win and a narrow loss in the last two races that Stratton drove and he's back in the bike today from a good post. (5) FASHION CREDITOR was a game winner last week and stays at the same level while keeping Bartlett.
Race 4
(1) TROPICAL TRICE made a nice rally to hit the ticket from too far back last week; she should be much closer from this post and can trip out to take this. (4) HERE'S THE MAGIC has taken two straight in sharp fashion off the Berkeley claim and meets most of the same rivals; clear threat to win again but won't offer much value. (7) SHOWMEYOURGUNS held well off a long uncovered trip last out and may be in line for another tough journey unless he can generate some early speed off the gate.
Race 5
(1) AMERICAN STEELE was Stratton's choice over a Schnittker trainee; enough for me. (6) JS MISS CAROLYN was a solid second last out. (4) KYLE'S SWEETHEART was a game winner in a breaker-scattered field last out; filly looks for three straight since the move to the Garcia-Herrera barn.
Race 6
(1) O'SUNDLAND'S game is speed and Stalbaum will look to take this field coast to coast. (5) GHOST PINE gets some post relief and figures to be much more involved. (4) GALACTIC GALLEON N was Bartett's choice and he was a winner when last at this level.
Race 7
(2) PANAMANIAN HANOVER isn't the most prolific winner but the DiDomenico trainee should go well from this spot. (3) SHADY MCCOY hasn't fired in his last few for Abbatiello but may appreciate the change in scenery. (1) DRAZZMATAZZ has been racing well out of town and draws best.
Race 8
(4) CANBEC KINGKAZIMIR was shuffled in his local return as the winner got away; Stratton picks up the drive today and the veteran could try heading to the front. (1) VILLE VALO held evenly while no threat upon arrival; he does draw best here which should put him in the mix. (5) POLAK A is a classy veteran who has been racing okay for his new barn.
Race 9
(5) LUCKY COLBY had no chance in his local return but managed to pass a few to pick up a check; he moves in a few slots today and should be offering the best price of the contenders. (2) SHAWNEE VALLEY was a winner at first asking upon moving to the DiDomenico barn; threat. (4) OPTIMIST BLUE CHIP has clear talent and needs this class drop but may be overbet.
Race 10
(1) ZACH MAGUIRE N held well to be third best last week and should get a much smoother trip from this spot. (5) TEO ENTEO A returns locally off some good tries for Stalbaum and he's raced well here in the past. (2) WYNBERG COURAGE N had no chance last week; he moves inside and gets Stratton back.
