Race 1
(9) WINNERESS has proven she can handle this distance as two back he brushed and crushed versus cheaper; 4-year-old may have something to prove versus better but I'll take a look at what should be a healthy price. (1) CONSOLIDATOR has raced very gamely in defeat in her last three and she may be the one to beat assuming she steers clear of traffic in this bulky field. (10) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN finally got back on the winning track last start.
Race 2
(5) KRONWALL was galloping all over the place last week but now he drops to face softer and is more than capable of a quick rebound. (10) JACKS TO OPEN also gets class relief for Surick and fits well here. (2) ARRIKIS should be close up throughout and can round out the bottom of the ticket.
Race 3
(5) TWO AM had some big moments as a 3-year-old and now faces much softer in his fifth seasonal start. (2) DEKEYSER lands in a good spot and picks up Bartlett. (7) MADMAN HALL gets Stratton back in the bike for Schnittker and can land a share at a price.
Race 4
(5) KENNEL BUDDY was an easy winner at this level and this distance two back; Allard trainee faces a tough one in (2) BINGO QUEEN but could be sharp enough to get it done. The latter drops to the basement and is clearly best here, but won't offer much value. (7) HERE'S THE MAGIC debuts for new connections and stays at the same proven level.
Race 5
(5) TULLOW N had some road trouble in his last local start and followed that up with a good try at Pocono; Bartlett's choice. (2) HOT DEUCE was third best to two tough ones last week and now he takes a needed drop in class; big player. (4) BELL I NO also drops in class and could awaken.
Race 6
(4) GERRIES SPORT followed up his brutal-trip local debut with a wire to wire score; seems capable of repeating. (3) SAMMY THE BULL doesn't win often but does fit with this type. (5) SOLO STORY had no chance last week after dropping to this level but he gets a bit of post relief and that 20/1 morning line is enticing.
Race 7
(5) DW'S NY YANK somehow got lost at the back of the pack last week but did close with good strides; classy veteran could be the one with more aggressive early handling. (3) BLUEBIRD JESSE was used too hard last out; DiDomenico trainee has proven he can go with this type. (6) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN was right there following Marion Marauder last week and the Allard trainee must be considered.
Race 8
(1) CHARMED LIFE has been trotting okay recently with better than these out of town and the inside post makes the mare the one to beat. (4) BUEN CAMINO was right there in a fast race at the added-distance and the classy Smedshammer trainee is a prime threat here. (2) GURAL HANOVER also returns locally and has a decent history here.
Race 9
(4) ART HISTORY could be an interesting play here going second-time off the Garcia-Herrera claim and he gets post relief off a willing effort last week. (1) SCOTCH MCEWAN finished up strongly last out and now gets major post relief. (3) DON'TCALLMEFRANCIS should be an early player and could be trouble on the front end.
Race 10
(1) DREAM OUT LOUD N is back in top form coming into this race off a very tough beat versus a good rival; gets the call from the rail. (3) BLOOD BROTHER was well-backed last week but got bottomed a bit late; he's better than that. (4) MISTER DAYTONA N fits with these and can land a share with a smooth trip.
