Race 1
(1) WINDSONGMUSCLELADY was caught in no-mans land last week in that added-distance event before breaking; Bongiorno may look to go down the road from this spot. (4) PHAT STACKS gave way badly after being used last out; prior effort was solid. (2) FIRE IN MY HEART was vastly improved last week; hails from top connections and draws well.
Race 2
(1) DON LINDY gets his nose back on the gate today, draws best and doesn't face a strong field. (4) YOLO LINDY was second best to the top choice two back. (6) MOOSE MADNESS has Tetrick driving again and was a good second two back.
Race 3
(3) LUCK O THE IRISH moves back up to the Open ranks and has quickly proven himself as a top-level trotter; he may offer the best price of the contenders. (9) HEMI SEELSTER really had no chance last week but he's back in top form and will be more involved today. (5) ALLERAGE STAR gets needed post relief and Andy Miller will have her on the move early.
Race 4
(3) CRAZY ABOUT PAT needed last week's start after missing some time and he raced well from a tough spot; Daley trainee should be ready for action today. (8) RUBBER DUCK was collared by the pocket-sitter last week and Bongiorno needs to get him the game early again today for his best chance. (5) WATKINS closed well in his last two and remains a late threat at a price.
Race 5
(2) PERFECT ROAD bumped to this level last week and closed well from last, snapping his two-race win streak; Marohn should have him much more involved from this improved spot. (10) WINDSONG MAGIC invades from Woodbine and seems fast enough to go with these; Bartlett drives. (4) IRON broke starting last out; obviously the Allard trainee is a speed threat if he minds his manners.
Race 6
(6) LUMINOSITY drops a notch in his third return start and the Burke trainee is better than most of these; I expect Brennan to have him fired up today. (4) GET TO DOIN IT flattened after a busy effort last week; consider at a price. (7) NOT AFRAID is way overdue and you'll get a decent price today if you fancy him.
Race 7
(9) TESACO DU PONT went an insane effort last week parked every step and was actually edging away late; I'll give the recent import the nod to repeat despite facing tougher. (1) DELCREST MASSY ships from the small tracks in Ontario for Allard and could fit well here; Tetrick drives. (3) ZORGWIJK NOVA was a solid two-move winner last week for Banca/Bartlett.
Race 8
(4) I LUV BLACKHAWKRED hasn't been bad recently with cheaper and he was never involved last week from a tough spot; worth a look with Zeron driving in a nondescript field. (3) MADHATTER BLUECHIP stays at the same level looking for two straight. (2) CAULFIELD should be in play from this spot.
Race 9
(9) LONG STORY SHORT has had a long and successful history at Yonkers and the veteran returns locally picking up Bartlett; top billing. (2) HASTY PROFITT gets needed class and post relief. (10) SUMATRA hasn't been at his best recently but he also gets some needed class relief.
Race 10
(2) DREXL SPIVEY hails from connections who always ship them in sharp and he should be in line for a live trip from this inside post. (1) STEED looks ready for his 2017 debut off two decent qualifiers. (6) CREDEVIE flattened last week after a two-move effort; consider.
Race 11
(5) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN has really turned it around recently for Burke and he looks for two straight. (4) MAJESTIC MISTRESS was game in defeat last week after being put on the front end. (1) THREEUPTHREEDOWN broke leaving from the second tier last out but he went wire-to-wire the start prior.
