Yonkers: Sunday 3/12 Analysis

Best Bet: BEE IN CHARGE (4th)
Spot Play: GET TO DOIN IT (8th)
MEET STATS: 69 - 224 / $402.80
BEST BETS: 11 - 21 / $37.20
Race 1
(2) SPRINGBANK SAM N has been collared on the front end in his last two but the Tritton trainee deserves another chance given the post edge on his main competition. (3) RED HOT HERBIE never fired last week when taken off the pace; he should be closer to the frontrunners from this spot. (5) B YOYO was a very game winner last out; consider underneath.
Race 2
(5) BUEN CAMINO has been razor-sharp returning this season and he can take this with any sort of live trip. (2) LUCK O THE IRISH has quickly proven that he belongs with the upper echelon of trotters. (3) NEWCASTLE misbehaved last week; his prior start was solid just missing to Hemi Seelster.
Race 3
(7) RUBBER DUCK finished with trot last week from a no-chance spot; he fits this class by virtue of January's two 'purse redistributions' and facing softer here makes him a big contender. (3) BROOKLYN BOND finally put it together last out and he could have more to offer. (10) LUMINOSITY makes his second return start for Burke and has tons of class.
Race 4
(5) BEE IN CHARGE won easily in his lone local pari-mutuel start last December and he qualified effortlessly in preparation for this; top billing. (4) IRON folded up on the front end burning money in the process at this distance last out; use caution. (10) GLOBAL REVOLUTION raced well here at the end of last season.
Race 5
(4) ALEX IN FRONT was too far back last out, made a long wide move and sustained it well to narrow the margin late; a similar effort can get the job done today. (8) PHAT STACKS just missed in his seasonal debut and Buter will likely try to improve position early from this tough post. (6) CREDEVIE was second best to a good one last out.
Race 6
(6) MAJESTIC MISTRESS closed well after the fact in her latest; trotting mare has shown the ability and can strike if kept closer to the pace. (9) ONTHEROAD DE VIE has hit the board in all of her 2017 efforts. (7) WINDSONGMUSCLELADY raced evenly off cover in her seasonal debut and likely needed the race.
Race 7
(10) KELSEY'S KEEPSAKE is another Bongiorno piece on the card who gets class relief and is in a much better spot. (3) MONROE COUNTY was better last week. (6) MILITARY BLUE seems to have tailed off but he drops in class and Tetrick drives today.
Race 8
(2) GET TO DOIN IT could not sustain a two-move effort from the eight hole last out versus better; this is clearly a much better spot for the Garcia-Herrera trainee. (3) TOBER gave it a better effort in last but still needs to show more. (6) ZORGWIJK NOVA was much better in her latest finishing second.
Race 9
(1) WORLD CUP has plenty of class to him and he qualified nicely at Freehold; veteran looks ready for action. (2) GOLDEN SON was nipped at the wire last week at odds-on; he'll be a better price today. (5) SHOWMEYOURGUNS closed crisply last out from too far back.
Race 10
(6) ROCKIN REDFORD broke last week at Saratoga and gave way the start prior at the added-distance but he can be forwardly placed again facing a field with nothing special. (5) MASS BALANCE didn't fire last out at The Meadowlands but was a winner in his last Yonkers start. (1) CROWN CLASSIC arrives from Canada and joins the Garcia-Herrera barn; consider.
Race 11
(6) ARRAKIS has been a model of consistency this year and he should be firing hard from the gate. (4) ALVAREZ has tailed off a bit in her last few but she can charge home with the right setup. (1) DOUBLEDAY fits here but the time off is a concern.
