Yonkers: Saturday 9/30 Analysis

Best Bet: HOT ROD DYLAN (1st)
Spot Play: P H SUPERCAM (4th)
MEET STATS: 379 - 1081 / $2,071.70
BEST BETS: 54 - 92 / $175.90
Race 1
(4) HOT ROD DYLAN drops into a very easy spot tonight and should pummel these as the favorite. (2) EXIT CAM switched to Bartlett and promptly took two in a row after being winless on the season; he's up in class but sharp enough to be second best. (1) MACH PRIDE is a clear player from this inside post.
Race 2
(3) WINDSONG LEO has been very sharp up in Canada and now ships down to join the Burke barn; I suspect he'll fit in nicely here. (1) TWIN B SPEEDO hasn't been bad in all recent and looks like a live player from this spot. (5) GIVENUPDREAMING was a big disappointment when last at Yonkers; don't accept too short of a price.
Race 3
(4) TEXICAN N is accustomed to facing better than these and the Tritton veteran should find a way to beat these. (2) BUNGALOW BILL N has raced decently in his last few and now drops in class landing a good post. (8) FCEE N has been solid in his two U.S. starts but may have too far to come from this spot; use underneath.
Race 4
(3) P H SUPERCAM gets the perfect combo of class and post relief which can get the Bamond-trained veteran back into the winner's circle. (4) AMERICANPRIMETIME was used on the front end last out and gave way; he's always a player with this type. (1) BORDER CONTROL A was a well-meant winner in his local return and he draws best again.
Race 5
(5) PACING MAJOR N, much like almost all of these Peter Tritton imports, has done absolutely nothing wrong since arriving at Yonkers and he looks like the deserving choice from this spot. (3) MR D'S DRAGON gets Bartlett tonight and will be on the move early. (4) SETTLEMOIR was last week's winner in very game uncovered style.
Race 6
(7) IN SECRET is a perfect 4-for-4 since moving to the Burke barn and looks for six straight overall; takes another. (3) RUBBER DUCK comes off a break and an injured scratch but if he's ready off that qualifier he will be a player here. (8) LOOKSLIKEACHPNDALE is a fringe stakes player coming from Canada and would be very interesting if not for the far outside draw.
Race 7
(1) FIRST CLASS HORSE went nowhere in his last two but now gets assigned the rail; when in the mood he's capable of blowing these away. (5) COOPERSTOWN takes a needed drop from the Open, where he had been racing pretty well; threat. (4) POLAK A really had no excuse last week, coming up flat in the late stages; use caution.
Race 8
(2) SHANE ADAM was very game in defeat last out after a rugged uncovered try and he lands another cozy inside post. (1) CHRISTEN ME N has the reputation of being one of the top pacers in the world; I suppose he'll be ready to roll from this generous rail assignment. (6) SUNFIRE BLUE CHIP moves in a couple of spots and may be heard from early.
Race 9
(2) FEEL THE NEED A was my strong selection last out but came up flat from the pocket after chasing a fast pace; I'll give him one more chance at an improved price. (5) SPORTS BETTOR is clearly better off at this $40K claiming level and he was a decent third last out. (3) ALTA JEROME N gave it a good try at a big price in last; should be a player tonight from this improved post.
Race 10
(4) RANCOUSY was very live both early and late winning his last; gets the vote to repeat. (1) RESPECTABLE DREAM may have a bit to prove class-wise but he's sharp and in line for a live trip from this spot. (6) MEMORY GAME has been sharp in his last few and should be a juicy price.
Race 11
(4) WINGS OF ROYALTY had trot but got stuck in on the final turn last time as the favorite got away; Ducharme trainee seems overdue and could be a halfway decent price in this wide-open event. (7) HEMI SEELSTER raced okay last week in a needed start and if ready to roll he's arguably better then these. (5) CRAZSHANA is another who rallied well after escaping a bit of a shuffle last out.
Race 12
(1) THEARTOFCONFUSION isn't the most reliable win proposition but he did beat these easily two back. (4) THE REV seems like a legitimate speed threat in here. (2) DREAM OUT LOUD N closed with some mild foot last out; veteran doesn't win that often anymore but he's still a player at this level, especially with an inside draw.
