(3) UPFRONT ELLIJAY ED ships back down into a seemingly live spot; he's got as good a shot as any in this field. (2) KING CAT ANVIL N looks to be slowly racing back into shape. (4) TIDEWATER TEDDY gets neeed post relief, but also gets trainer Vallee back in the bike.

Race 2

(2) DASH N raced gamely for second upon dropping to this level and the Temming trainee appears on the cusp of a victory. (1) DR CS Z TAM drops, draws best but doesn't like to win. (4) GO GO SOLANO has some speed at his disposal.

Race 3

(6) WAYNE THE LEFTY had a pretty tough trip last week and finished mildly from a no-chance spot; classy gelding looks like a perfect fit at this level. (1) GRAB YOUR KEYS gets needed class relief and the inside draw is a big plus. (7) HERE WE GO AGAIN is impossible to endorse for the top spot, but the Burke trainee can be considered for a small share.

Race 4

(4) WHATSITTOYOUGRANT was confidently handled to victory versus lesser last week and he appears capable of handling the class hike. (5) FREDDY DAY HANOVER broke leaving; Stalbaum tries the drive tonight. (6) HYPNOTIST fits with these, overcoming the outside post might be the problem.

Race 5

(7) VALENTINO may be just a touch classier than these; Pantaleano can hustle him from the gate. (4) TALKTOMECOURAGE N toured the track from post eight; toss that race and the Down-Under gelding looks live here. (2) HURRIKANE SCOTTY J enters a new barn--worth noting.

Race 6

(2) SAPPHIRE CITY proved his worth at Philly with a game third-place finish versus seasoned stakes foes; Holland should be wound up tonight from this spot. (4) AUSSIE REACTOR A has looked pretty good since arriving state-side. (5) ONE MORE LAUGH was the Open winner last week after a two-move effort; can he repeat?

Race 7

(1) RAFFERTY HANOVER may be the claim of the year; former 15K claimer is too sharp to put into words. (3) ALIVEANDWELL N should be close up from this spot. (2) COSMICPEDIA is another that's gotten progressively better with time; consider from this inside post.

Race 8

(2) FOUR TRUMPS A did not disgrace himself versus Open types; Team Stalbaum veteran can work out a winning trip from this spot. (3) ROCK TO GLORY was used hard early and understandably fizzled out last week; it should be smoother sailing tonight. (1) SAULSBROOK FAME is arguably in career form.

Race 9

(5) MR COOLIE appears hard-pressed for a win and Dube should send him to the front. (2) POWER OF A MOMENT raced better last out and he looks next best here. (7) DEFIANCE N has some back class and he can be considered underneath at a price here.

Race 10

(4) NINE INNINGS was on cruise-control in 1:51 4/5 upon arrival; he can repeat despite the rise in class. (8) RIVER SHARK is probably best here but he has to overcome post eight. (1) LIFE UP FRONT has shocked us before at a big price; consider him from the rail.

Race 11

(3) FORIEGN OFFICER gets some post relief; expect Bomber Stalbaum to send the gelding to the lead. (1) MEANT TO BE ME got away with murder on the engine last week and took care of business; he draws best again, but faces tougher. (4) ELECTRIC OUI needs a close-up rail trip here and he can threaten.

Race 12

(4) TOBAGO CAYS proved overmatched versus Open rivals in his last two; with the class relief, he can be considered here in this well-matched event. (3) MODERN DAY CLYDE is in career form and he can threaten with a smooth trip and late clearance. (2) BETTORS CURSE has been rock-solid since the Cassar claim.
