Yonkers: Saturday 7/7 Analysis

Race 1
(2) ROCK ON MOE hasn't been awful recently but perhaps a bit in over his head; the class and post relief should make this classy veteran an easy winner. (1) HEEZ ORL BLACK N lands the best post and was Bartlett's choice; logical candidate to complete the exacta. (3) HIGHLAND TATRAN never wins but he's a steady check-earner and there's no reason why he shouldn't land a share from this spot.
Race 2
(2) P L JERICO has been a killer in two starts after shipping from Canada to join the Burke barn; sharp sort may be good enough to take another in his Yonkers debut. (1) SUMATRA was an easy winner two back and this veteran should work out a perfect trip from this spot. (6) KINETIC KING needs some help from this spot but he should be on the move late and can grab a smaller share.
Race 3
(2) LETTUCEROCKTHEM A was a bit curiously handled last week and came up a head short at 1/5; he's back up in class tonight but faces no killers and all of these Doug Dilloian imports have to be respected. (1) OH JOHNY B GOOD N was no match for the top two last week but lands another good post and should be right there throughout. (7) TAKE IT BACK TERRY is not nearly what he once was but he's still a serviceable 'Saturday night' horse; needs to find a way into the race, however.
Race 4
(1) CHANTEPLEURE has proven to be very speedy when he's on his game and he draws best in a fairly weak NW20000 division; Dube should be looking to take these wire-to-wire. (5) BETTOR ROCK ON N is somehow still winless in 2018 but has banked almost 50K; he'll find his spot eventually. (6) ROCK ABSORBER returns locally off some good recent efforts at Pocono; Bartlett drives.
Race 5
(5) IDEAL ROCKY has been racing reasonably well enough recently with this type and he could be a solid late threat with some unreliable speed signed on inside of him. (4) BEACH MEMORIES has been okay in his last three and now he drops in for the fourth consecutive week which I believe is a good sign. (3) CARACCI HANOVER has been on some roll of late but he changes hands again and may have to work a bit harder tonight.
Race 6
(5) PACING MAJOR N has yet to break through at the Open level but we all know the talent is there and landing inside of his main competition could make the difference. (8) EVENIN OF PLEASURE could not catch a revved-up Always At My Place last out but he put in his usual rock-solid effort; eight hole hurts chances but increases his price. (7) SOMEWHERE IN L A is out three weeks off an uninvolved effort so who knows what to expect.
Race 7
(4) BRAVE WORLD has something to prove versus this type but he does move in a couple of spots and should be a decent enough price to take a shot. (1) THEARTOFCONFUSION A drops from the Open ranks where he surprisingly raced very well and he clearly looms a big threat; I suspect he'll be overbet, however. (5) GIVENUPDREAMING also gets a bit of class relief and could be on the move early; take note however that Jordan Stratton is listed to drive in some of the earlier stakes races at The Meadowlands and clearly can't be in two places at once...when he arrives at Yonkers will be anyone's guess.
Race 8
(6) NF HAPPENSTANCE was gunned down at the wire last Sunday afternoon in a solid return effort and the classy mare should be heading right to the front again. (3) WESLYNN DANCER raced pretty well for new connections after being out three weeks and she can improve off that effort. (7) DW'S NY YANK is a classy millionaire who always gives an honest effort; this spot makes it tough to consider for the top spot but he can certainly land a share.
Race 9
(1) AMERICANPRIMETIME gets a free ride at this level off a devastating 1:50 2/5 score; he should repeat at around 1/5 but beware because we've seen him bounce in the past off a big effort. Problem is, I don't like anyone else in here. (6) AVATARTIST has raced well in two local starts and could pick up the pieces at a big price. (2) LUCIANO N should be sitting close up and can be there at the wire if he isn't bottomed out.
Race 10
(1) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN has been riding a long losing streak but may have found the winning spot against some questionable rivals. (6) ANOTHER DAILY COPY blasted down the road to beat lesser last week, though he did beat a classy rival in in the process. (3) SOHO WALLSTREET A moves into a new barn after a long run with Croghan; use caution at what should be a short price.
Race 11
(4) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN did the best he could from an impossible spot in last week's 12-horse added-distance event where nobody moved; Bucci trainee is feeling good again and can take this with any sort of live trip. (2) ELYSIUM LINDY is a clear speed threat from a good spot. (5) CONSOLIDATOR has hit the board in her last six, but has hung a bit late in a couple of those.
Race 12
In an extremely competitive finale where you can make a case for six of these; I'll stick with the sharp (4) ALOTBETTOR N. Bongiorno trainee gutted out a win against one notch lesser last out but has been right there with this type (and better) in the past. (5) SOHO LENNON A was grinded into submission by Pacing Major N last out; I see an off-the-pace attempt coming tonight. (6) CHRISTEN ME N moves to the Lance Hudson barn and we'll see if it wakes this underachiever up. (2) SOMEWHERE FANCY, who I have listed fourth, is a serious threat to take these wire-to-wire.
