Best Bet: NOB HILL HIGH (11th) Spot Play: MACRAIDER N (1st)

Race 1

(6) MACRAIDER N looks like he's in a spot to leave and make the front. Classy vet can carry his speed a long way. (7) HERE WE GO AGAIN popped the pocket last week like he was actually going to pass a horse and win (yeah ok). Camera-shy gelding rates highly with this type, however. (2) SFUMATO has been sharp in his last two.

Race 2

(1) GRAB YOUR KEYS tumbles in class, draws best and lures Brennan; obvious odds-on chalk here. (3) MOST HAPPY DRAGON qualified back nicely off that pari-mutuel disaster two weeks ago. (2) ON THE BRINK should be close up throughout.

Race 3

(3) SOUTHERN ALLIE had three consecutive eight-hole rallies versus better, now he gets post and class relief; seems pretty logical to me. (1) REAL FLIGHT couldn't make up ground against Listowel, who suddenly is a beast; Fraley charge should be better tonight. (5) ONE MORE LAUGH showed plenty of late pep last week for Schnittker.

Race 4

(1) AMERICASGOTTALENT won in 1:57.1 at Monticello at first asking; Burke charge should head right down the road. (3) OK FAME was an easy winner in his lone half-mile start; Brennan drives. (2) TO BEACH HIS OWN looks like he may have some ability for Ray Schnittker.

Race 5

(5) REAL NICE is right back in the box again despite having tailed off recently; classy vet will turn it around sooner rather than later. (4) RIVER SHARK was very game in defeat last week, and (6) VERSADO was very game in victory.

Race 6

(6) SCALPED shows a speedy wire-to-wire win over the half-mile; Teague, Jr. trainee must be respected, even from the outside post. (2) ROCNROLWILNEVERDIE was a pretty gutsy runner-up in his career debut over the big track. (4) DEALMAKER has speed for Team Stalbaum.

Race 7

(4) DOCTOR BUTCH looks like another in a long line of solid Linda Toscano stock; he was Bartlett's choice here of four. (6) A BETTOR WORLD will likely be trying to leave the gate to get involved from this spot. (2) CHARGER BLUE CHIP looks like he has a shot here.

Race 8

(7) ROCK TO GLORY returns off a solid front-end win on the blazing-fast Pocono strip; prior local form was solid. (2) B JS BEQUIA bumps up off a win; he could be a threat with a stalking trip. (6) FITZS Z TAM hasn't cashed in since joining the Burke brigade; I'm sure he'll earn his keep soon.

Race 9

(5) DVCFLYINGFRENCHMAN has seemed to regain the form that made him a terror last year under the guidance of Lou Pena; down the road again. (3) SPY N reverted back to old habits last week when he broke; debuts for new barn tonight. (4) WYNSUM MAGIC has some speed at his disposal.

Race 10

(3) SIR ZIGGYS Z TAM appears to be in a spot where Lachance should get aggressive. (1) ALILABILITY ships from Pocono off a solid placing. (4) SHORTSTACKED merits a mention, especially with Brennan driving.

Race 11

(1) NOB HILL HIGH......$2.60, $2.10, $2.10. No excuses tonight. (3) SAILING CRUISE was a game winner here two back. (4) JACKED UP faced lesser last week, but he sustained a nice wide rally to just miss.

Race 12

(4) REPORT FOR DUTY N and (5) MILITARY STRATCOM comprise a strong "two-headed" monster; either one can win. Throw in (7) WILLIE BOOTS, who could round out the "trifecta".

Race 13

(2) HIGH OCTANE N has loads of talent, but he's been a bit erratic lately; consider here at a decent price. (6) VALENTINO showed his class last week; he fits with this type. (1) FOUR STARZ TRACE returns with the best draw and he was a decent second when last seen here.
