Best Bet: GUARDIAN ANGEL AS (2nd)

Spot Play: CLEAR VISION (8th)

MEET STATS: 233 - 661 / $1,342.80

BEST BETS: 31 - 57 / $107.00

Race 1

(6) SHINOBU HANOVER has live moves and meets a pretty soft and suspect field here. (7) QUALITY CLOSER jogged versus lesser last out at odds-on using the Rick Dane, Jr. to George Brennan driver angle. (1) LUCIANO N makes his U.S. debut and is obviously worth a look.

Race 2

(2) GUARDIAN ANGEL AS returns from Canada where he certainly didn't disgrace himself in the Goodtimes; Lorentzon trainee should handle these. (1) FIRE IN MY HEART was a solid winner from a similar spot a few weeks ago. (4) ARCHERY gets some post relief and can be considered for a share.

Race 3

(1) P H SUPERCAM clearly has lost a step or two but he still makes his living by winning from spots such as this. (5) NEWBIE is reunited with Bartlett and they should be firing off the gate, (3) MY MIND IS MADEUP gets post relief and should be much closer to the action.

Race 4

(5) BETTOREVER went a huge effort last out only to get nailed on the wire; Bamond trainee deserves another chance. (1) ALBERTO CONTADOR N was a well-driven winner versus similar last out and he draws best. (7) LUCAN HANOVER was awful last out but the driver change here to Bartlett is interesting.

Race 5

(1) BONFIRE BLISS had no chance last week but was second best three back from the rail versus similar; Bartlett drives. (3) WYNBERG COURAGE N gets some needed post relief and has had his moments this season. (4) IRA CHIEF goes for new connections facing a bit tougher off a sharp win.

Race 6

(2) TEXICAN N hasn't been very sharp in his last couple but you can never count this veteran out. (6) TWIN B SPEEDO put in a heck of an effort only to get nailed on the wire last out. (8) SANTA FE BEACHBOY rolled widest and flew home getting there in time though he was almost a victim of the shorter stretch; how does he get involved from this spot?

Race 7

(2) SOHO LENNON A is reunited with Stratton off a nice freshening at Gaitway and he lands a good inside post. (4) ORILLIA JOE was a good second last out from the eight hole. (1) JENERAL PATTON will be close up throughout from this spot.

Race 8

(5) CLEAR VISION was a victim of the outside spot last week but he moves in a couple of slots and the gutsy veteran looks like the one to beat with the post edge on his main rivals. (7) BIT OF A LEGEND N has some work to do from out there but can never be counted out. (8) SOMEWHERE IN L A won easily rating a soft pace but will have to work much harder tonight.

Race 9

(1) WESTERN BAYAMA never really fired on the rim last week but he drops back in for a tag where he's been successful and he draws best. (2) COWBOY TERRIER was a winner last out versus similar and is a clear threat from top connections. (3) BLAISE MM HANOVER was outfinished off a live trip last out; can the Allard trainee improve off that third place finish?

Race 10

(3) BAKERSFIELD was razor-sharp last week in his third start since moving to the Garcia-Herrera barn and he may be good enough to repeat versus better. (1) SOMESIZESOMESTYLE had good late pace last out and looms a threat from the rail. (4) LETTUCEROCKTHEM A was second best last week to a sharp winner; gelding should fit very well here.

Race 11

(6) DOUBLE L LINDY gets Dube in the bike tonight for Svanstedt and they teamed up for a win five back. (1) THATS A BAD BOY was driven like best last week and he lands the rail again; one to beat. (4) HOME'N DRY gets away from the eight hole and he can hit the ticket.

Race 12

(1) SAPPHIRE CITY was a no match second to (2) DOCTOR BUTCH last week; it's possible he can turn the tables tonight. The latter stole it on the front end in that race. These two classy veterans should be sitting 1-2 throughout again. Speaking of class, throw in (3) BETTOR'S EDGE on the ticket. He's been sharp and is closing in on two million earned lifetime.
