Yonkers: Saturday 6/30 Analysis

Best Bet: CARRACCI HANOVER (5th)
Spot Play: HARRY TERROR (1st)
MEET STATS: 238 - 717 / $1,344.00
BEST BETS: 34 - 60 / $114.20
Race 1
(8) HARRY TERROR seemed well-meant last out and raced big coming up second best to the odds-on winner; he faces a field of suspect rivals here and the Harris trainee deserves top billing despite post eight. (6) DEMOCRACY N isn't the most reliable sort but he closed well last week and he certainly figures here. (1) DOJEA SOLO has the most speed from the best post but he needs to show more late.

Race 2
(2) TYBER TYKE gapped cover and tired chasing two much better rivals last week; prior two efforts were sharp. (7) LUCIANO N hasn't won in some time but he's hit the ticket in four of his last five and he does have some early speed. (1) PERCY'S Z TAM looks like a player from a good barn but he loses his regular driver.
Race 3
(1) WE THINK ALIKE was a wire-to-wire winner two back from an inside post with Bartlett in the bike; logical. (5) GHOST PINE returns locally, has some speed and has had some good moments here in the past. (3) CAVIART SKYLER has been razor-sharp in his last two.
Race 4
(5) RUN ONEOVER N went an insane trip last out and was right there at the wire; have to respect the Dolloian-trained import off that effort. (4) WINDSONG LEO jogged in two straight and there's no reason why he can't take another. (1) THE REAL ONE did rally well from the eight hole in a race that kind of fell apart last week but he's just not reliable enough these days to endorse.
Race 5
(4) CARRACCI HANOVER went an absolutely huge trip in defeat last week snapping his win streak and the freelegged pacer has been on his game for ages; he deserves the call as the favorite. (2) SPORTY SPOOK A was second best in his last two from similar spots. (1) DR DRAKE RAMORAY is up in class off a win and he draws best; Brennan's choice.
Race 6
(5) ALWAYS AT MY PLACE was super game last week winning in 1:51 1/5, easily holding off a sharp rival in the process; Burke trainee is clearly sharp enough to repeat. (4) GREAT VINTAGE returns to Yonkers in a decent spot and I expect MacDonald to be aggressive early with the veteran. (6) BIT OF LEGEND N wasn't in the greatest spot last week from the outside, raced okay but was actually outfinished late by a rival from behind him. With Jordan Stratton out of town he gets a new pilot tonight; lots of question marks here.
Race 7
(4) MCERLEAN was a touch overmatched in the Open but has been solid in prior efforts; veteran can take this with a live trip. (5) VORACITY has been right there in four straight but may have to get a bit lucky with some good ones signed on to his inside. (2) ORILLIA JOE and (1) THE REV are a couple of veteran speedsters with the two best posts; either one may take these the distance.
Race 8
(2) CAVIART LUCA had no chance of reaching against some of the best pacers in the land last week but from this spot he may be able to get the jump on his rivals. (6) PACING MAJOR N has been vicious in practically every start this season but is stuck outside (deservedly so) and the Tritton trainee loses his regular driver. (4) MACH TIME N looks for four straight and it's not impossible; Bartlett drives.
Race 9
(1) SEVENS HOPE A hasn't been bad in his last two and he's worth a look from the best post in a race where it's hard to get excited about anyone. (4) DOCTOR BUTCH has been a non-factor in his last three but this is definitely a better spot. (5) THE WAYFARING MAN ships in for Burke has has looked pretty good recently.
Race 10
(3) ROCK N TONY put in an honest eight-hole effort last week upon arrival and now he gets post relief while facing softer; down the road in the finale. (1) TEXAS TERROR returns from a failed try from Pocono and the veteran should be close up throughout from this spot. (4) RONNY BUGATTI has been sharp and could be charging late with a ground-saving trip.
