Race 2
(1) JOHNNY Z was used up in the early stages in his recent trip. Gelding gets post relief and that should help his cause. (5) FOREIGN OFFICER & (2) BRETT MCFAVRELOUS both rallied mildly in their last starts.
Race 3
(5) MAJOR MARCUS Philly shipper makes his intial trip to Yonkers. Has good tactical speed to rate and score over these. (1) AMERICAN VENTURE has hit the board in his last three tries. (2) DULL ROAR should fare well from the 2-hole.
Race 4
(2) JUSTIFIED Pennsylvania invader has fine speed for the Burke barn. Can take this with Brennan at the helm. (7) BURKENTINE HANOVER ships in from Bangor with an easy score last out. (6) CODE WORD is sharp based on his last four trips to the post.
Race 5
(3) SKY IS THE LIMIT showed good speed at Philly finale. Pacing gelding could make tonight a winning one. (4) ONE AND ONLY dreadful trip from the 8-hole last time around but should rebound from the four slot. (1) ONE THROUGH TEN retains the rail and has been sharp in his last three tries; threat.
Race 6
(7) HESTON BLUE CHIP Very game pacer. Five-year-old is capable of making amends for tough loss as the chalk last out. (6) DIGITAL Z TAM Gelding got the job done recently against the top pick; dangerous again. (1) SIR ZIGGYS Z TAM moves up in class but is in solid form.
Race 7
(2) VERDAD tired in the stretch drive and had to settle for show money. Pacer can boss these at his best. (1) I LIKE DREAMIN moves up in ladder but the rail slot can make him a factor in here. (5) MAN HE CAN SKOOT closed well last out and just miss the victory; watch out.
Race 8
(1) CONNERY BLUE CHIP put in an even finish in his last try. Gelding gets the best of the draw. At his best, this guy can make tonight a winning one. (2) CHINA GRILL fits well against these and retains the 2-hole. (3) PANONGAHELA flashed good speed in his most recent try; not out of this.
Race 9
Will take a shot with (5) BIG N BAD to return to his winning ways with a timed drive from Brennan. (3) CHARGER BLUE CHIP has tactical speed and should contend in this event. (4) BUBBIE BOY showed late pace in his latest.
Race 10
(1) HERE WE GO AGAIN has good early zip and should fit quite well from the rail slot. (3) HILARIOUS HALO gets serious post relief; main danger. (6) GAMBLERS TALE could last a share of the purse.
Race 11
(4) GRAB YOUR KEYS Gelding has been quite sharp in his last four tries at The Meadowlands; all systems go. (8) RONNY BUGATTI has good speed and should handle the move to the far outside slot. (2) HI HO STEVERINO Gelding could have a say with this group.
Race 12
(1) STATESMAN N faced much tougher in his latest. Gelding has every right to top these at his best. (6) DEDIS DRAGON is also on the dropdown and should be a big threat in here. (2) ROCKIN FINISH Ohio invader got the job done last out down the road. Can't count him out against these.
