Race 1
(8) EIGHTEEN has found the fountain of youth since moving to the Banca barn off the private purchase having taken four straight and earning over $45K in the process; he's got the speed to overcome the eight hole. (2) TENDTOWIN has quietly had some good moments versus lesser and he can save ground from this spot and flash late pace at a price. (5) ONE THROUGH TEN was much better last week closing with good energy.
Race 2
(2) STEED gets Stratton in the bike tonight and should be close to the action throughout. (3) ULTIMATE SHOPPER is up a notch in class but has been very sharp. (1) EXPLOSIVE RIDGE is less accomplished than others in here but he draws best riding a two-race winning streak for Team Johansson.
Race 3
(1) SAPPHIRE CITY isn't as automatic as he used to be from spots such as this but the veteran looms a solid player from this spot. (3) QUICK ASA TRICK N faces much tougher tonight but is coming off a solid score. (7) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN took a break coming off the grueling Levy series and qualified effectively; problem here is the post.
Race 4
(6) CASH ME OUT finds a more realistic spot tonight and gets Brennan back in the bike. The last time he drove they teamed up to defeat the classy Charmed Life. (5) TOBER has been good this year with Holland driving. (8) TIGHT LINES is legit in here but needs an alert getaway and some luck from this spot.
Race 5
(3) THEARTOFCONFUSION A is coming off a monster qualifier for his new connections and looks ready for action. (6) WINDS OF CHANGE wasn't bad but wasn't great in his debut for the Banca barn; threat. (4) DYNAMIC YOUTH has loads of back class to call upon.
Race 6
(8) RESOLVE returns from Sweden where he raced admirably in the Elitlopp and he was the International Trot winner when last seen locally. We might actually see a halfway decent price tonight from the eight hole. (6) OBRIGADO was good in his seasonal debut, obviously a needed start. Keep in mind his last few Yonkers starts have been underwhelming. (4) GURAL HANOVER was gunned down by a razor-sharp B Yoyo last out at The Meadowlands and he should have a tactical speed advantage from this spot.
Race 7
(7) SETTLEMOIR has been sharp up at Saratoga in his two starts off the Allard claim and he should be a good price from this spot in this tough-to-figure event. (3) THE REAL ONE is obviously a major threat if he brings his 'A' game. (8) BLOOD BROTHER may have too much to do from the eight hole.
Race 8
(5) SOMEWHERE IN L A couldn't really leave hard enough last week and never got involved; this is obviously a much better spot tonight. (6) BIT OF A LEGEND N raced well last out but did get run over from behind late; clear player here. (2) GUANTANAMO BAY has proven this year that he can hang with the big boys; threat to hit the ticket from this inside spot.
Race 9
(3) SPORTY SPOOK A has closed with plenty of pace in his last two and it looks like the Allard trainee has found a home at this $50K claiming level. (1) CANBEC KINGKAZIMIR has just missed in three of his last four and he draws best here. (2) ROCK ABSORBER is a good fit here, draws well for top connectons but has missed some time.
Race 10
(4) OOH RAH is erratic and needs to stay trotting but the talent is there and he has a big move in him. (3) JIMMY WILLIAN returns from Sweden for Takter and jogged from the eight hole when last seen locally. (7) THE ROYAL HARRY is a perfect one for one to start his 4-year-old campaign.
Race 11
(1) DEWYCOLORINTHELINE doesn't seem to win as often as he should but he's tough to pass on from this spot. (5) FORT VALLEY AS is a logical speed threat but he'll have to show more late. (2) MARCH AWARENESS gets some needed class relief.
Race 12
(2) WESTERN BAYAMA has been searching for a winning spot in his last few with no success but he draws well here and is reunited with Stratton. (4) NATIONAL SEELSTER was a game uncovered winner when last at Yonkers and he's got early speed in his arsenal. (3) MACINTOSH N can hit the ticket at a price for Vallee, who has had some live ones recently.
