MEET STATS: 209 - 593 / $1,089.20 (-$96.80)

BEST BETS: 30 - 52 / $88.70 (-$15.30)

Best Bet: BELLOW’S BINGE (12th)

Spot Play: GIVENUPDREAMING (3rd)

Race 1 – NW10000 in last 5 starts

(7) DOJEA SOLO may be a bit of a reach from this outside post but he does have early speed in his arsenal and fits this level well. (1) ART HISTORY jogged at this level four back with Marohn driving. (4) CAVIART SKYLER doesn’t win often but is a steady earner and should come away with a piece here. (3) BLAKE NORTH arrives from Ohio, joins the Garcia-Herrera barn and does seem to have a bit of class to him; missed time may be a concern.

Race 2 – NW10000 in last 5 starts

(4) LEAN HANOVER now has two re-acclimating miles and was Stratton’s choice dropping from the Open. (3) THE VETERAN had a solid 3-year-old campaign and was solid winner two back at The Meadowlands before tackling some tough ones in the Graduate; big player here. (1) SCIROCCO ROB has clear talent and draws best but he did break here three starts back. (2) BUEN CAMINO jogged versus lesser last week and Brennan drives again.

Race 3 – NW10000 in last 5 starts

(1) GIVENUPDREAMING has done little to get excited about this season but last week’s effort in defeat was a big step in the right direction and the Lance Hudson trainee is capable of dominating these. (5) ART SCENE was the play last week but failed badly on the front end; Bartlett sticks and they can bounce back at a much better price. (7) WARMINSTER A has had his moments here and note the driver change tonight to Marohn. (2) RUN ONEOVER N figures to be close to the action throughout.

Race 4 - $40,000 Claiming

(1) VEGAS ROCKS did the best he could last week off the Allard claim to be third best to a couple of tough ones; he drops back in for a tag tonight and is clearly the one to beat but won’t offer much value. (3) PICKLES PREACHER is probably best a level down but overall he’s been pretty sharp and he can be included. (2) WINDSONG JACK is back in for a tag, lands inside and figures for a close-up journey. (7) HIGHLAND TARTAN has been solid off the DiDomenico claim but has to contend with the outside post tonight.

Race 5 – NW10000 in last 5 starts

(2) ROCKATHON was bottomed a bit from the pocket chasing a fast mile last week but the Bucci trainee lands another rare inside post and seems capable of rebounding. (8) ODDS ON DELRAY just missed at this level two back and if Holland can improve position early from this tough post the Alagna trainee can be trouble. (4) TYMAL PEACEMAKER ships from Canada to join the Lachance barn but he may need a start or two to hit peak form. (1) SPORTSMANSHIP draws best which puts him in play.

Race 6 – Open Handicap Trot

(3) WILL TAKE CHARGE finished with strong late strides in his last two, one of which resulted in a victory; he lands the best possible post in this ‘outside draw’, was Stratton’s choice over a classy rival, and the veteran looks like the one to beat. (1) IN SECRET was assigned the rail off a second place finish and the Burke trainee will be flashing his usual early speed. (2) MELADY’S MONET looked fine in that qualifier last week and we all know he’s more than capable of beating these. (4) SMALLTOWNTHROWDOWN has some tough ones inside of him which may limit him to a smaller share.

Race 7 – NW20000 in last 5 starts

(1) ROCK N TONY has been better since returning to the Erv Miller barn and that was a solid effort in defeat last week versus lesser; he faces some tough rivals in here but is worth a look. (3) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN doesn’t win nearly as often has he should but the Tritton-trained veteran always deserves consideration. (5) GRATIAN HANOVER never got involved last week but he’s reunited with Joe Bongiorno tonight and finds a slightly better spot. (4) BLOOD BROTHER is going well and figures to round out the ticket at the very least.

Race 8 – NW20000 in last 5 starts

(4) BABES DIG ME realistically had no chance facing better from an outside post after missing time. Banca trainee can make serious noise from this spot. (3) OURLITTLEGENERAL A returns locally for Allard off a solid effort in defeat at Saratoga. (6) IMAROCNROLLLEGEND N hasn’t been on his best game recently but clearly he’s capable of better. (5) IDEAL COWBOY has been pretty consistent largely

Race 9 – Open Handicap Pace

(2) MACH IT SO had been very sharp prior to last week’s effort where he was done in by the outside post; classmaster lands a nice inside post and should be in line for a good trip. (5) ROCK DIAMONDS N was very good last week for Cushing, with pace at both ends. (8) MICKY GEE N drew off confidently in 1:50 3/5 last week but the eight hole may leave him with too much to do. (6) CLASSY DRAGON has been a terror since moving to the Jenn Bongiorno barn.

Race 10 – NW30000 in last 5 starts

(3) THEARTOFCONFUSION A was a ‘brush and crush’ winner last week and the classy veteran gets a free ride at the same level. (1) BEACH BOOGIE steps up off a dominating win and draws best. (5) MILITARY MASTER A has been inconsistent for Lance Hudson but one of his better efforts will put him in play. (7) DECOY is a talented 4-year-old who finally may be putting it all together; he looks for four straight but this is not an easy spot

Race 11 – NW30000 in last 5 starts

(2) MACH DORO N was a fringe Levy player earlier in the year and returns sharp from Plainridge into a live spot and seems capable. (1) SOMEWHERE IN L A had little to offer in last week’s Open but it’s tough to ignore the millionaire from this post; overbet? (3) THE REAL ONE is clearly in fighting form but we all know how frustrating it can be to take him on top. (8) DON DOMINGO N is capable but will have too far to come; consider for 3rd/4th?

Race 12 – NW20000 in last 5 starts

(2) BELLOWS BINGE got stuck with an almost impossible trip last week in a race ultimately won by a 99/1 shot; he should have no traffic issues tonight. (1) BET ON BRITT almost lasted after carving out big splits on the engine last out and the Allard trainee can complete a chalky exacta. (4) MILLIONDOLLAR WAVE gets post relief and could sneak into the number with a ground-saving trip. (5) MCCLINCHIE N steps up in class again but he’s been very sharp in his last two.
