Yonkers: Saturday 4/29 Analysis

Best Bet: TAKE IT BACK TERRY (12th)
Spot Play: ALL BETS OFF (8th)
MEET STATS: 155 - 445 / $911.70
BEST BETS: 23 - 39 / $78.00
Race 1
(3) PASS THEM BY N is still winless on the year but he's one of the more proven commodities at this level. (1) MOSSDALE CONNER N makes his U.S. debut for the Tritton barn, which makes him an obvious contender here; watch the board. (2) THE REV was very sharp out of the pocket last out beating weaker.
Race 2
(2) NOBLES FINESSE rated kindly on the front end and prevailed last week; he's facing a similar group while drawing well again. (1) DULL ROAD should be able to sit close up from this spot and hit the ticket; he was third best to the top choice last week. (6) WESTERN BAYAMA has been sharp and looks for two straight but moving outside doesn't help his cause.
Race 3
(3) TWIN B SPEEDO dropped in for a tag last out and was claimed by Blumenfeld; he's certainly worth considering on the barn change angle in a race with no standouts. (4) DON'TCALLMEFRANCIS returns locally off a win at The Meadowlands and he'll likely be on the move early. (2) THE LUNCH PAIL is more than capable but isn't the easiest horse to endorse on top.
Race 4
(4) TYLER THE TERROR steps up in class razor-sharp for a sneaky barn that's had success this season; worth following. (5) PAPPY'S PAL returns locally in for a tag and does have good early speed. (7) ROCK ABSORBER was a good second last week and needs to fire hard from the outside post again for his best chance.
Race 5
(7) CHARMED LIFE has come back sharp this year with two straight victories out of town; Allard trainee is probably best here. (4) CASH ME OUT has been very consistent up at Saratoga and he should be firing early from this spot. (2) RUN AND TELL PAP didn't fire with his best last week after a good debut off the Garcia-Herrera claim but the inside post can help his cause tonight.
Race 6
(2) REGGIANO closed in very willingly from third over last week at a big price and he can build off that effort in a race with no standouts. (4) COWBOY TERRIER gets needed post relief and figures to be a big player with Bartlett. (3) POLAK A returns locally with some class relief but hasn't been that reliable recently; use caution.
Race 7
(5) LADY'S DUDE was done in by post eight last week and can be excused for that tiring effort; Burke trainee has a post edge on most of his rivals here and Brennan should take full advantage. (4) IN SECRET has done nothing wrong in his last four Open tries, finishing close up in each race. (8) MELADY'S MONET made his local return a winning one but it may be tough to repeat from the outside post assignment.
Race 8
(3) ALL BETS OFF raced better in his last two Levy efforts while having no chance; anything resembling his best effort and he can jog here. (5) ROLAND N ROCK was a clear second last week to the can't lose odds-on winner. (7) CLEAR VISION has been absolutely super in all recent races, including winning the Levy consolation, but the outside post may do him in tonight.
Race 9
(6) TE KAWAU N ships back locally off a tough try at Dover missing by a neck; sharp short should be considered in this wide-open event. (3) LONE SURVIVOR is up in class off a loss but he does hail from top connections and this seems like a good spot. (1) FOILED AGAIN is assigned the rail in this strangely handicapped race and the champ looks for two straight; hard to leave off the tickets.
Race 10
(2) BETTERLATETHNNEVER has been on quite a roll recently out of town and he was the victim of tough posts when last seen locally; Bartlett's choice over a Banca trainee. (3) DR J HANOVER is still trying to find his level but he will be showing speed; needs to show more late. (1) CASIMIR JITTERBUG really hit his stride in his last three in Pennsylvania and that can carry over here in his local return.
Race 11
(6) MONEY MAVEN was an easy winner versus lesser the last time Dube was in the bike and the veteran trotter should offer the best price of the contenders. (8) DW'S NY YANK is stuck outside but has the early speed to overcome the handicap. (1) DEWYCOLORINTHELINE is a solid money-earner for Schnittker and he should land a share from the rail.
Race 12
(3) TAKE IT BACK TERRY has been very disappointing recently but is tough to pass on at this level. (1) BET YOU returns locally with the best post and the best driver. (7) SECOND WIND N has raced very well with those lame scratches mixed in; he can hit the ticket despite the rise in class and outside post.
