Yonkers: Saturday 4/1 Analysis

Best Bet: ROSE RUN PARKER (11th)
Spot Play: SANTA FE BEACHBOY (6th)
MEET STATS: 108 - 325 / $634.80
BEST BETS: 16 - 29 / $56.10
Race 1
(2) LONE SURVIVOR not only gets class and post relief but he switches back to leading driver Jason Bartlett; top billing. (1) MACON GEORGIA A has raced well in his three 2017 starts and should go well from the rail. (5) SANTANNA ONE rallied well last out with Tetrick driving; include.
Race 2
(1) J A T O is starting to become a money-burner but he's had legit excuses in all of his losses; I'm giving him another chance. (4) COVERT OPERATIVE steps up to face tougher but he's been very sharp recently. (6) RUBBER DUCK drops a notch, moves back to the mile distance and should be a major factor.
Race 3
(1) PASS THEM BY N has raced well in all recent and appears way overdue for his first seasonal score. (3) ST LADS MOONWALK has been pretty consistent at Saratoga and that form could translate well here. (7) SIR MACHALOT has been a solid second in his last two and has the speed to overcome the poor draw.
Race 4
(3) IDEAL COWBOY gets a free ride at this level off a win; Bartlett can work his way to the front and take these the distance again. (1) WINDS OF CHANGE makes his second start off the bench and should have more to offer. (2) FOILED AGAIN lands in a more realistic spot tonight and should be able to land a good piece of this.
Race 5 - Levy
(3) SOMEWHERE IN L A fired from the outside post last week, battled hard putting away the favorite and held game to the wire despite being run over by a fresh foe. Tonight from this better post he will be aggressively handled again and can take these the distance. (7) ROCKIN RON has been rock-solid in all 2017 efforts, including last week's 1:51 1/5 score. He's got the speed to overcome the post. (1) BETTOR'S EDGE draws best for the third week in a row; include. (2) SOTO has been a favorite of mine but he failed to fire off a perfect trip last week.
Race 6 - Levy
(2) SANTA FE BEACHBOY chose to sit last week and finished with pace from a no-chance spot; Bartlett gets the call tonight and the Banca trainee will be much more involved. (4) MISSILE J is perfect through two legs of the Levy but he really benefitted last week chasing hot action up front. (1) GREAT VINTAGE should be tighter making his third start of the year; include underneath.
Race 7 - Levy
(3) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN made an ill-fated brush to the lead and got brutally hung last week, putting an end to his win streak. Assuming that race didn't take too much out of him he can bounce right back tonight. (1) KEYSTONE VELOCITY was a wicked uncovered winner last out and I wouldn't fault anyone for going right back to him. (2) CAVIART LUCA lands a rare inside post and will likely be aggressively handled.
Race 8
(1) LUCK O THE IRISH has proven he belongs with the top tier of trotters and he probably wins his last if he gets through; worth following in this competitive event. (3) LADY'S DUDE powered home to upset last week and he can clearly repeat with the better draw. (7) HEMI SEELSTER was used early and gave way late last out; he's a contender here and the price should be decent.
Race 9 - Levy
(1) GUANTANAMO BAY has been insanely sharp in all of his starts since moving to the Renaud barn, always finishing with a flourish. Leaving from the rail may prove a bit tricky for this closer but he'll be right there with any sort of live trip. (6) BIT OF A LEGEND N has been shut out this year but it's not like he's been bad, with excuses in each race. He'll win one soon. (4) ALWAYS AT MY PLACE could be the primary speed off the gate.
Race 10
(4) TITUS SEELSTER has fired from the gate in his last two and raced well versus lesser; perhaps that early speed can enable him to trip out versus some questionable foes. (1) NUCLEAR DRAGON is tested for class but he's been very sharp. (2) TEXICAN N has missed time and comes off a lame scratch; tough to figure what he's going to show tonight.
Race 11
(4) ROSE RUN PARKER has a live move and just needs to time it and he can blow these away. (3) STORMONT KATE went wire-to-wire versus lesser with the owner in the bike; trotting mare gets Bartlett tonight and may have more to offer. (5) DEWYCOLORINTHELINE raced decently enough last week but was no match for the winner.
Race 12
(1) ROLAND N ROCK was off three weeks before touring the track from the eight hole versus better; he's back on a regular rotation, drops and lands the rail. (2) SAPPHIRE CITY also gets class and post relief; these two should be controlling the action. (7) MOONLITEONTHEBEACH could save ground at the back and sneak on the ticket underneath.
