Race 1
(6) STOLEN CAR was very sharp off the gate last week setting up the perfect trip behind the heavy favorite; veteran is always a player at this level and a similar effort can get it done tonight. (2) BETTOR ROCK ON N went just evenly last out but he lands another good post and should be sitting close up. (1) BLATANTLY BEST drops in for a tag for the Banca barn, draws best and I suspect he'll fit in well here class-wise.
Race 2
(3) WESTERN FAME jogged in a dominating performance last week and was going to win easily regardless of the field scattering behind him; Allard trainee should repeat at a short price. (1) DUPLICATED N was solid in defeat in round one of the Levy getting run over by a very good rival; he's clearly the main threat from this spot. (6) MACH DORO A has shown plenty of talent in his two U.S. starts but this is just an unfortunate post draw for this Gibbs/Cushing import.
Race 3
(3) BABES DIG ME has been super since the Banca purchase as he graduated from his Monday night conditioned races and he now tries some seasoned Saturday stock; I think he's sharp enough to fit right in. (1) AMERICAN BOY N clearly needed last week's eight-hole effort and he'll be a big player from this more realistic spot. (6) CHRISTEN ME N does get class relief but it looks like he's been tailing off.
Race 4
(7) LETSCHASETHEDREAMN woke up last week with a much better effort after a couple of really dull tries; obviously the post hurts here but the field doesn't look that strong for a NW30000. (4) Q'S CRUISE raced well here versus a bit lesser and he can be considered from this spot. (2) GIVENUPDREAMING raced very well to be second best last week in his first start in three months.
Race 5
(1) BIT OF A LEGEND N basically toured the track from the eight hole last week but it's a whole different story tonight after winning the draw. He faces some tough ones in here but deserves top billing. (4) GOKUDO HANOVER wanted the lead last week but was denied that spot, and that pretty much sealed his fate. Can he hit the top tonight? (2) MORE THE BETTER N was a very game uncovered winner in round one and may be looking at a similar trip here. (5) RODEO ROCK deserves a mention off last week's very strong performance but he's got the ones he needs to beat inside of him.
Race 6
(3) ANYTHINGFORLOVE A has been razor-sharp for one of the hottest barns on the planet and he draws into a pretty soft Levy division; short price looming but he should prove an easy winner. (1) ENDEAVOR did the best he could to land a share last week and the inside draw here obviously improves his chances. (5) DR J HANOVER seemed to have a chance for more last week before getting wiped out; hard to not consider this hard-knocking gelding.
Race 7
(2) BLENHEIM has been razor-sharp this year for the Lucas Wallin barn and he's transformed into a legit Open player; I'll give him a long look with the post edge on his rivals. (4) WESLYNN DANCER is as capable as any in here, when she minds her manners. (5) DW'S NY YANK is assigned midpack, with the tactical edge on some of his rivals which makes him a must-use.
Race 8
(4) MACH IT SO had a useful 2019 debut and the veteran closing in on $2.8 million can certainly build off that effort. (2) BELLOWS BINGE paced home decently last week and now gets post relief; Bartlett's choice. (3) IDEAL JIMMY went down the road with surprising ease in round one and he'll likely have to work harder tonight.
Race 9
(5) THE DOWNTOWN BUS was uninvolved in his 2019 debut but it's not like he raced badly and he certainly should be tighter tonight facing some questionable rivals. (4) SAMS A CHAMP A is another who never entered contention last week but this looks like a much better spot. (3) BECKHAMS Z TAM never looked very good in the pocket last week at 1/5 odds for some unknown reason; he's clearly better than that.
Race 10
(7) DON DOMINGO N gets saddled with another bad post and can be excused for his last couple of races but the Lance Hudson import has proven more than capable with this type and price certainly will be right. (1) SOMEBADDUDE was a solid second last week and the improving 4-year-old looms a large threat from this spot. (3) IMAROCKNROLLLEGEND N battled gamely last week though was nailed at the wire; he should be a speed threat again.
Race 11
(4) IN SECRET was battling with some tough ones over at The Meadowlands and he was a complete jogburger last time he was at Yonkers. (3) BUEN CAMINO trotted evenly last out at the top level and the classy veteran will go better from this spot. (7) SOUTHWIND CRUZE was one of many Jenn Bongiorno trainees who have recently been winning in dominating fashion but this is clearly a much tougher spot.
Race 12
(4) SHNEONUCRZYDIAMND A has not put in a bad effort since returning in 2019 and already has three wins; Croghan trainee is just a live trip away from taking another. (2) SCOTT ROCKS had some solid local efforts here last year but he may need a start or two to hit top gear. (1) KILLER MARTINI gets a touch of class relief and draws best but it's a question as to how much early speed he can generate.
