Race 1

(3) IWANNARACEHANOVER showed an improved effort upon dropping in class last week. With the post relief tonight he can take another step forward. (1) PONTIAC LUCK moves up for Burke off a blowout win and he would appear pretty logical from this spot. (4) ERIDANUS N ships back from the big track and has been solid in his last two.

Race 2

(6) OUTRAGEOUS ART is a perfect two-for-two since joining the Burke barn. He looks like he will be a good fit at this level. (3) SAMS ESCAPE was much-improved last week. (4) DASH N was uninvolved in his first start for Casie Coleman. Perhaps he can show more tonight.

Race 3

(5) HURRIKANE JON PAUL was on the shelf for over a year, then came back with a sizzling effort at Freehold at first asking. He's got back class and could be ready for better. (2) MORGAN SHARK is another Burke trainee that looks well-spotted here. (4) ORR HANOVER gets some class relief.

Race 4

(4) SKY MESA arrives from Canada to join the Burke Brigade. This division of NW12000 came up a bit weak and this gelding can take advantage. (5) BOBJACKS ANGLE A gets some post relief, is second-time Lasix and could show improvement for Smith. (1) COLOSSAL draws best, was Brennan's choice and he should be competitive from this spot.

Race 5

(3) PAN FROM NANTUCKET needed last week's start. He's got some class to him and there's no reason he can't be competitive from this spot. Consider him at a price. (1) FLIPPER J was second best two back from a similar spot. (6) WINTER RETREAT A could be a closing threat.

Race 6

(4) OUR CULLENSCROWN N looks like he's finally put it all together. He's clearly within reach of another victory tonight. (3) STONEHOUSE ADAM pounced off a speed duel and was wrapped-up winner last week. Sharp sort deserves respect. (1) ROADWAY is clearly not Open material. He can be considered from this spot, however.

Race 7

(4) BETTOR DESIGN was a big disappointment last week, when he never fired. I'm giving this veteran another chance. (6) DEFYING GRAVITY gave way after a hard uncovered try upon arrival; he can be a threat with a better trip. (1) TALKTOMECOURAGE N should land a piece from the rail.

Race 8

(1) MAJOR BELLE ships in and draws best off a solid ten-hole win at The Meadowlands and he can take charge from this spot. (4) EIGHTEEN was a game front-end winner versus lesser last week and he can be a speed threat again. (2) ESPEN DE VIE rallied well to share win honors last out; consider here for a share.

Race 9

(2) FAT MANS ALLEY was stacked wide in a paceless race and had no chance last week; from this inside post he should be a bigger threat. (5) BETTORS CURSE is a steady commodity at this level and he's always capable with a live trip. (1) JACKED UP draws best and Sears picked him; time for this veteran to wake up.

Race 10

(4) A J CORBELLI ships in for Allard off a powerful win at The Meadowlands and he should fit nicely here. (2) BETTORS REWARD just missed from a pocket ride last week and he may be stalking from a similar spot tonight. (8) NOB HILL HIGH is arguably best but I can't see him overcoming the eight hole.

Race 11

(5) TOBAGO CAYS gave way in the late stages versus Open competition in his return from vacation; I could see Pantaleano handling this one aggressively again. (2) MODERN DAY CLYDE always finishes with pace; hopefully traffic won't be an issue from this spot. (4) CINDERELLA GUY has raced well in his last few.

Race 12

(7) SHOOBEE'S PLACE was airborne late in his first start off the shelf; classy veteran should be able to overcome the outside post. (2) SILENT SWING was baked up in a speed duel last out. (1) ELECTRIC SHOOTER was third best versus this type last week and he rates just as highly tonight.
