MEET STATS: 381 - 1063 / $2130.10 BEST BETS: 50 - 83 / $166.30

Best Bet: ARCTIC ESCAPE (1st)

Spot Play: MONTREAL PHIL (11th)

Race 1

(6) ARCTIC ESCAPE has been feeling good lately and he faces no standouts here; Brennan could be leaving the gate from this spot. (1) CAVIART KEY gets needed post relief and should be a big threat. (2) CHEYENNE JEFFREY lands another inside post and he can be counted on for a share.

Race 2

(4) LIGHTNING STRIKE has raced much better in his last two; Brennan drives again and he appears overdue. (3) TWIN B HOLLISTER was uncovered last week and never threatened; threat with a better trip. (2) MUSCLESHOOTER ships in off two no-chance efforts at Saratoga; three-year-old gets needed post relief.

Race 3

(3) P H JACKPOT was the pick last week but never really fired off cover; veteran gets an improved post and I'm giving him one more chance. (1) ABBEYLARA is a good check-earner but not a prolific winner; this is a live spot tonight. (4) PIERAZ could not sustain a wide move last out; he gets some class relief here.

Race 4

(2) MR HASANI N always races well over this surface and he may be able to grind his way to victory. (4) VALENTINO may be able to reach the lead from this spot and he could prove tough to catch. (1) STONEBRIDGE TONIC went wire-to-wire two back at this level and from this post.

Race 5

(3) LETTUCEROCKU A gets post relief in his second start at this reduced level; maybe. (4) OUR CULLENSCROWN N just missed at a nice price last out; closing threat. (5) KING'S LEGEND is better than his last effort.

Race 6

(6) PAN FROM NANTUCKET was never a threat last week, but he's currently in career form and he can upset with any sort of live trip. (8) SWEET LOU has been knocking heads with the best the sport has to offer and he'll attract plenty of attention, but I still can't get Bolt The Duer out of my head when he was here a couple of months ago (it was an uninvolved tour of the track). (5) ARDYNE ACE has been super in practically every local start.

Race 7

(7) BAKIN ON THE BEACH has closed a ton in his last two starts. He's stuck in post seven again but maybe he can reach tonight. (1) N J LAW got going too late last week; the post relief helps. (4) BJ'S BEQUIA woke up with a winning effort versus lesser last out and he's got class to him.

Race 8

(5) BLATANTLY BEST has done little wrong in his last three starts; three-year-old has proven he can compete with these. (8) FLEM N EM N would be the clear choice here if not for the post. (1) ROLLWITHITHARRY has been a big money-maker since joining the DiDomenico barn.

Race 9

(1) ESPEN DE VIE tripped out last week; why not again from this spot? (4) OUTRAGEOUS ART gets post relief and the Burke trainee will likely be forwardly placed with Brennan in the bike. (2) FOREST VIC A steps back up off a win; this fourteen-year-old is unreal.

Race 10

(3) SOMETHING FOR DOC has been an utter failure since that big-ticket purchase prior to the Levy final. Note the barn change here to Drolet tonight...maybe that wakes him up. Worth a look if the price is right. (1) NOB HILL HIGH makes money year after year; threat if he's kept close to the aciton. (4) MYSTERIOUS MOMENT can save ground and rally late.

Race 11

(3) MONTREAL PHIL hasn't fired with his best recently but there's no standouts here and I wouldn't be shocked to see Lachance get aggressive. (1) ALL STEINAM gets major post relief; obvious threat. (2) SHORTSTACKED is one of a handful Vallee veterans that make money year after year.

Race 12

(3) ONTHECLOCK HANOVER gets Kakaley in the bike tonight; maybe that's enough to get him over the top. (1) E Z NOAH draws best and will probably look to go down the road. (7) MICKEY HANOVER was super in victory two back.
