Race 1
(3) P L FIGHTER surprised me by not leaving the gate last week and he never fired off of dull cover. I expect a more aggressive effort tonight. (7) SOURCE OF PRIDE had no chance up in class from the eight hole. This level should suit him better. (5) LAUXMONT CAPRI gets some post relief and his prior couple of efforts were decent.

Race 2
(5) THIRTY TWO RED should go well at this level and he's a smooth trip away from visiting the winner's circle. (6) GOBAN folded up badly on the engine versus better in the slop last week; threat to carry his speed further tonight. (1) PANONGAHELA has been overdue for a while now and is running out of excuses.
Race 3
(3) SOMETHING FOR DOC wasn't awful last week having to settle for third after losing some momentum. He's worth a try here in a race with no standouts. (1) CAN HE GO figures to attract plenty of attention from this spot. (2) CASHENDASH HANOVER double-jumps off a front-end win.
Race 4
(3) SAPPHIRE CITY drops again in class after being used hard last week; veteran is clearly best here. (1) MORTAL ZIN grinded gamely to victory last week versus lesser and he should be no worse than the pocket from this spot. (5) ORILLIA JOE kicked home nicely off live cover last week to upset.
Race 5
(4) COWBOY TERRIER never got involved last out but he gets post relief and is inside what he has to beat; I suspect Bartlett will be gunning early tonight. (5) MONTREAL PHIL drops and gets away from the eight hole; logical. (3) CODE WORD also drops and has plenty of class to call upon; Sears drives tonight.
Race 6
(6) LUCAN HANOVER couldn't overcome the rough overland route last week at Philly; from this spot I expect him to drive on early to the front. (2) ASLAN has done nothing wrong in all of his recent starts. (1) LIFE UP FRONT has also been racing well and he's assigned the cozy rail spot.
Race 7
(4) MICKEY HANOVER found the water in the Open a bit too deep; veteran drops back to a winning level tonight. (6) MCERLEAN hasn't done much in his last two, also against better; worth a look here. (5) LAWGIVER HANOVER gets Sears in the bike tonight and could contend.
Race 8
(2) SAFE HARBOR lost cover but continued on well and just missed last week; he can get it done tonight with a more favorable trip. (1) SANTANNA ONE was going nowhere last week from post eight. It will be a different story tonight from post one. (4) JUSTIFIED hails from Burke/Brennan; must respect.
Race 9
(5) TYBER TYKE faltered in his last few after a promising local debut; he drops again and deserves one more chance. (1) GARNET RIVER A made up good ground last week and he should be considered a threat from this spot. (6) DALLENBACH HANOVER is always a speed threat but he's had trouble finishing recently.
Race 10
(2) ALBERTO CONTADOR N has really impressed since arriving on U.S. soil and he could have even more to offer. (3) DOCTOR BUTCH always must be feared when drawn inside. (4) DAVID'S DREAM hails from Burke and was a big upset winner versus lesser two back.
Race 11
(8) TAKE IT BACK TERRY drops from the Open ranks, where he certainly hasn't disgraced himself. I have faith that Brennan will get him out of the gate, and he may actually present some value from the outside spot. (2) FAT MANS ALLEY needs a good inside post to compete; let's see if he can turn things around tonight. (1) THE REAL ONE should be close up from this spot and he should be good enough for a share.
Race 12
(3) ROCKSTAR TEMPER will look to make it a perfect 4 for 4 since joining the Burke barn and I think from this spot he can do it. (4) FLEM N EM N kicked home nicely last week and was a winner at this level three back. (5) FOREVER JUST was also a winner with this type just two races ago.
