Yonkers: Pick 5 sequence remains difficult to hit

Once again the Pick 5 proved an elusive target on Wednesday night (February 11) at MGM Yonkers Raceway, leading to a $6,218.97 carryover and $20,000 guaranteed pool in the wager on Thursday night's (February 12) program.

The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Program and free Harness Eye past performances for the Pick 5 will be available here. The Pick 5, which begins in race five and has a $1 minimum, has a takeout rate of 20 percent.

As a reminder, carryovers in the Pick 4s at MGM Yonkers Raceway also went live this week. Rules for Pick 4 carryovers are as follows: If no one hits the early Pick 4, the carryover money goes to that day's late Pick 4. If no one hits the late Pick 4, the carryover money goes to the next day's early Pick 4. Both the early and late sequences are $1 minimum bets.
