Yonkers: Pick 5 carryover slated for Monday night

Saturday night's (September 3) Pick 5 sequence at Yonkers Raceway was not hit, largely due to a 32-1 upset by Cantstoplying, driven by Brent Holland for trainer Paul Stafford and owner Thomas Ceraso Jr., in the eighth race.

As a result, on Monday night's (September 5) card, there will be a $2,668.22 carryover in addition to the usual $10,000 guaranteed pool in the wager.

The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program. Free past performances for the Pick 5 will be available here. The Pick 5, which begins in race five, has a takeout rate of 20 percent.

Monday night’s 11-race program will also have a carryover of $1,080.46 in the Pick 6 starting in race three.
