Yonkers: Pick 5 carryover, guaranteed pool coming up Monday

Favorites were blanked in Saturday night's (September 21) Pick 5 at MGM Yonkers Raceway, leading to no winning tickets being held. As a result, when racing resumes on Monday (September 23), there will be a $5,183.10 carryover in the wager, and the $10,000 guaranteed pool in the sequence that normally takes place on Mondays will get a bump to $15,000.

The guarantee in the Pick 5 is being offered as part of the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Program. Free Harness Eye past performances for the Pick 5 are available here. The Pick 5, which begins in race five, has a takeout rate of 20 percent.

This coming week at MGM Yonkers Raceway marks the end of the Monday/Tuesday and Thursday through Saturday live racing schedule for the year as action will switch back to a Monday through Friday basis beginning the week of Monday, September 30. Post time remains at 7 p.m. (EDT).
