Race 1
(1) LIGHTNING RIDE gets Buter back in the bike off a couple of good efforts and she draws best here. (2) NAUTICA BLUE CHIP was second best last out and will be close to the action again. (7) NEVER ANY DOUBT ships from Canada to join the Allard barn but has missed some time; perhaps we have to see one first.
Race 2
(5) CHEYENNE MOLLY seems to fit well with these but appears to be camera-shy; I suppose one of these weeks she'll get there. (3) VERMILION BIRD will be heading to the front from this spot. (4) CLIMATE CHANGE has been a steady check-earner for Baynes.
Race 3
(4) GRAVE DANCER looked very good three back when upsetting then threw in two dull efforts; there's clearly no standouts in here and he should be an attractive price. (1) STELLA'S PHELLA missed by a nose last out and now is 0 for 59 and counting; this may be his best spot yet to break through. (7) SUNKEN TREASURE never got involved last out after winning the week prior.
Race 4
(6) MEETYOUATMIDNIGHT was a good two-move second best last week to a classy rival; top billing. (3) EMPEROR MONTANA N exits claimers and looks live from this spot but I always got the impression this gelding should be better. (7) SHADY CITY gets needed class relief and may have been my top choice with an inside post.
Race 5
(2) CHEYENNE TRIENGEL picked up a nice check in the Lady Maud and she should be in line for a live trip from this spot. (1) MARLA MCGIVERS returns from a nice series of efforts at Pocono. (3) FROG POND PRINCESS has taken two straight since arriving but faces better tonight.
Race 6
(4) ALWAYS COVERS proved two starts back that she can go with this type; Zeron is back driving. (2) ART INSTRUCTOR gets some needed post relief. (3) SHE SAID should save ground close up and can land a share.
Race 7
(1) I SAID PLEASE finished with loads of pace but had too far to come; that shouldn't be an issue tonight. (4) AMERICAN IMAGE has had a few decent local efforts and she can sneak into the number. (7) UPSIDE SURPRISE is capable but may be hampered by the outside post.
Race 8
(3) BREAKTIME HANOVER jogged versus lesser in his debut for the Milici barn then was uninvolved last week from the outside post; Buter should be aggressive from this spot. (6) BRED TO RACE really kicked in nicely last week to upset; Burke trainee could have more to offer. (7) PRETTY BOY HILL improved last out after his flat local debut.
Race 9
(1) BANK SHOT HANOVER has more than held his own versus some good competition out of town; Allard trainee should be tough from this spot. (6) SAFENSOUND HANOVER just missed last week after altering course to avoid a breaker but I'm not convinced he was going to win anyway with a smoother trip; prior efforts were solid. (8) LONE SURVIVOR is good but may have too much to do from this spot; use underneath.
Race 10
(3) REGAL SIGHT had a hint of late pace in his debut for new connections and may be worth a look here at a good price. (5) PERFECT BET is arguably the most accomplished here but doesn't seem to win as often as he should. (4) STOVER could be on the move early.
Race 11
(2) HUG A DRAGONESS has raced well versus stakes competition and the Burke trainee should handle these at a short price. (4) FRANNEY LOVE DAT hails from the Milici barn and is assigned a big morning line; consider underneath. (8) NIP'S BEACH GIRL will probably be up against it from the outside post.
Race 12
(3) BETTING EXCHANGE raced well versus some more seasoned stock and arguably faces softer here despite racing for more money. (2) SHINOBU HANOVER gets some needed post relief. (1) ARTSMAH faces a tougher test here but could hang around for a share.
