Yonkers: Monday 9/24 Analysis

Best Bet: WHO’S BETTTER (5th)
Spot Play: AMERICA FIRST (7th)
MEET STATS: 392 - 1100 / $2,138.10
BEST BETS: 52 - 93 / $170.90
Race 1
(3) I CHOOSE YOU has raced just evenly in two local starts but she gets some needed post relief and could be ready to show more. (1) TWIN B HALO has been close in most recent and returns locally with the best post; clearly the one to beat but will be a short price. (2) PART TIME HANOVER is an interesting Maritimes shipper and is pretty well bred.
Race 2
(1) SILVER CREDIT doesn't win nearly often enough but should be good to go at this reduced level from the best post. (2) BLUE SWAN drops, is priced to sell and will look to awaken. (4) VERDI D EM trotted evenly last week in a strung-out field and the French import should be able to land a share here.
Race 3
(4) LYONS JENNIELEE is perfect since arriving, getting better and better each week; top billing. (2) PAINTED LADY was run down by the top choice and may be second best again. (5) SHEBANG N looks for five straight and the import would be no surprise.
Race 4
(7) RED DIRT REBEL makes his second start for Allard after shipping from Charlottetown and he clearly needed that one last week at Pocono; outside post will help his price. (1) MISS U BIG MIKE had trouble last out but his local debut was good. (3) AMERICA'S GUEST was game for second in his first start after moving to the Banca barn.
Race 5
(5) WHOS BETTER could not reach from the eight hole last week in a race where the winner went 1:51 2/5 but he still hit the ticket; a similar effort tonight can take this. (2) TIVO HANOVER two-moved and tripped out last week from the outside post; obvious threat to repeat moving inside. (1) TEN BEACHES LATER was driven more aggressively than his 102/1 odds would suggest last out; interesting.
Race 6
(1) MELANIE'S FILLY was very good last week after a long trip and she deserves the nod from this post despite facing a pretty solid field. (8) QUEEN LOSTRIS N has been solid in all U.S. starts and can be a player with early involvement from post eight. (4) SHEEZA GNP N makes his U.S debut for Tritton; obviously give her a look.
Race 7
(2) AMERICA FIRST made a nice move into contention last week but had too far to come; DiDomenico trainee appears sharp and overdue. (3) ARAMIS N is a perfect two-for-two on U.S. soil for Tritton/Stratton. (4) CALIFORNIA CRUISIN ships from Philly off a win and looks like a good fit here.
Race 8
(2) MICKY GEE N drew off for the easy win last week making it three straight; no reason why he can't take another. (3) BLOOD LINE was no match late for the top choice but did hold second; Takter trainee does have talent. (6) SIMPLE KINDA MAN hit town and sparkled beating up on lesser; can he repeat that effort?
Race 9
(1) BO MACH ships from Mohawk Park, where he's had some success on Ontario-bred events, and he joins the live Lance Hudson barn; watch the board for clues? (2) TITANIUM N was second best last week to a tough winner. (6) NICOL SHARD N has talent but obviously needs a smoother trip.
Race 10
In a competitive finale, there are two interesting Down-under shippers making their debuts, namely (4) THREEOFTHEBEST A and (5) WHITTAKER N. With some questionable favorites in here they are both worth a long look. (1) BET ON BRETT is most logical from this spot for top connections, but he tired badly in his last at Pocono.
