Race 1
(5) HARPER CHOICE clearly has some issues as she's lightly raced and has missed some time since her last start but she's had some decent pace in her two starts since moving to the Paul Fusco barn and meets a field full of questions marks. (1) JK JAZZITUP is clearly the one to beat but is coming off a lame scratch. (2) UP YOUR GAME gets Sears in the bike again and draws well.
Race 2
(2) ON THE ROPES is perfect in her young career for Svanstedt, including overcoming breaks to win a couple of those races; short price looming. (4) PAPPAGIORGIO has looked much better adding the hobbles and hails from good trotting connections. (1) SHORTIE JOE raced well here last month in his career debut but seems to have regressed from there.
Race 3
(1) CHEYENNE REIJANE won from the pocket last out, draws best again and should be in line for a similar trip. (5) CASH IS KING stopped in his last local appearance but raced well last out. (8) WILLIE JOE HILL has plenty of pace for Lachance but may be done in by the eight hole.
Race 4
(2) SOUTHEASTER has raced well in his three career races and gets a big driver change to Sears. (3) IF NOT WHY NOT has good speed and seems well behaved. (6) TROLLER gets a driver upgrade to Eric Goodell but is stuck outside.
Race 5
(1) OSPREY BLUE CHIP moves into the Burke barn, draws best and was a winner when last seen here. (3) E L PEACEMAKER never got involved last out but had flashed solid speed in prior starts. (2) IDEAL IN CASH was a game winner last out versus similar and is certainly a player again.
Race 6
(5) FOURTH DIMENSION has steamrolled his way through the NYSS and puts his perfect 4 for 4 record on the line tonight; he'll be heavily favored to take another. (2) PURPOSE BLUE CHIP will be close up from this spot for Dan Daley and he can contend for a board spot. (1) TITO draws best looking for three straight and the Erv Miller trainee seems much-improved.
Race 7
(1) PERLUCKY gets a big driver change to Jason Bartlett and the Smedshammer trainee should be ready to roll. (7) DON gets the worst of the draw but Andy Miller will be leaving looking to improve early position. (5) RICH UNCLE has been racing evenly for Burke; use underneath.
Race 8
(8) SEDONA SEELSTER is stuck all the way outside but he's got plenty of early speed and may be able to clear the front. (2) HALLIE'S COMET finished with plenty last out and now gets post relief; likely favorite and the one to beat. (3) SONNY SOMEWHERE ships from Pennsylvania with decent form.
Race 9
(5) FULLBACK gets Sears in the bike tonight for Vallee and he's been racing well; he's just a smooth trip away from the winner's circle. (1) JOE'S BID had his mind on business and jogged last out beating lesser; Banca trainee could be ready for more. (7) THE WALL has been racing well recently and may be on the move early.
Race 10
(5) ROLL WITH JOSIE hasn't been bad recently and was a winner three and five back; Allard trainee may offer some value here. (4) ANGELINMYWAY has finished close up in her last three but needs a little bit more late to get over the hump. (1) NEVER BACK DOWN was stubborn in defeat last out and is a threat starting from the rail again.
Race 11
(4) BEACH OGRE really got roughed up in last and excusably tired; give the Banca trainee another chance. (3) SEMI AUTOMATIC took no prisoners from the rail and bottomed out his rivals last start; clearly capable of repeating. (2) BERING SEA HANOVER is better than his last two would indicate.
Race 12
(3) AZUL POOL has raced well in most recent starts, with only a parked-out tiring effort in the mix; he's got a post edge here on his main rivals. (6) HALUSKY was used hard early and folded versus more seasoned foes last out; he's a threat to go all the way here for Team Miller. (4) SUNKEN TREASURE can trip out for a share from this spot.
