Race 1
(4) LYONS JENNIELEE was a solid winner upon arrival for Allard and that start over the track could give her the edge over a couple of interesting shippers. (1) SHELLIE DE VIE invades from Canada with some good form, joins a top barn and draws best. (7) I CHOOSE YOU also invades for a new barn and has hit the board in all seven career starts.
Race 2
(5) COVERT OPERATIVE drops to the basement and the Burke trainee figures to awaken big-time. (3) MERRY HANOVER was empty last week in a fast mile and looks to be in a better spot today. (4) SEXY PV hasn't been good in a while but is still tough to completely dismiss from these connections.
Race 3
(1) ROCKIN RUSTY definitely needed his first local start where he cut a fast clip but gave way; perhaps he's tighter tonight. (6) PRO BEACH ships from Philly for Takter off a win, gets Stratton in the bike and should fit well here. (5) WHO'S BETTER is another Pennsylvania shipper in good form that completes this interesting race.
Race 4
(6) ARAMIS N was in a good spot in his U.S debut for Tritton and ended up winning in solid fashion; import may have more to offer. (2) MOUNT ROYAL gets some much-needed post relief. (4) LISBURN comes from Mohawk and joins a barn that's had some success here.
Race 5
(3) IDEAL FLIP was second best to a runaway in his last local race and he returns in a pretty good spot. (7) TITANIUM N lands another poor post but he's proven competitive with this type and is a very generous 20/1 morning line. (2) SAMMY B HAPPY has beaten up on cheaper stock at Monticello and takes a shot here for bigger money.
Race 6
(2) BLOOD LINE didn't fire his best last week versus more seasoned rivals but he looks better classified here. (1) MICKY GEE N was left alone on the front end last out and cruised; import should have another good effort on tap. (8) ALBERGO HANOVER is loaded with talent but is stuck way outside in a good race; still merits consideration.
Race 7
(2) ROCKIN INTHE HILLS has been right there in all recent efforts and he lands in another good spot tonight; top billing. (1) KEYSTONE PHOENIX faltered deep stretch in a tough beat last out and the Schnittker student gets another crack from the rail. (5) PARTY BOY has finished with good energy in all recent races.
Race 8
(3) RUN ONEOVER N just got nipped versus better two back and he faces a field of camera-shy types here. (1) GHOST PINE has solid speed and the best post; he should be right there from start to finish. (5) BETTING EXCHANGE had some traffic from the pocket last week; he doesn't win often but should hit the ticket.
Race 9
(2) MAGRITTE has been close up recently and seems overdue to break through. (6) ODDS ON DELRAY was a game winner powering past the top choice last out and is certainly a threat to do it again but may not offer much value. (4) AMERICANFIREWATER is coming off a sick scratch but did beat lesser easily in his last start.
Race 10
(3) OURLITTLEGENERAL A never seriously threatened in his U.S. debut but he did rally for a share; perhaps the Allard trainee shows more tonight. (4) PROVOCATIVEPRINCEN raced well last week but failed to deliver a knockout punch; he's another that's way overdue. (1) BORDER CONTROL A looks for three straight since moving to the Burke barn.
