(6) NATIONAL DEBT gets class relief and a slightly better post to work with; underachieving horse can get the best of these with a live trip. (2) DRUNKEN DESIRE A could not sustain a two-move eight-hole effort last out; post relief helps. (3) SAMMY THE BULL N just missed two and three back; player.
Race 2
(6) ROSESCAPE ships in for the Rohr barn, gets Bartlett in the bike and should be forwardly placed. (3) CHEYENNE MOLLY seems capable with a smoother trip. (1) CLIMATE CHANGE was a huge upset winner last week in a strange race and she draws well again; consider.
Race 3
(3) DEADWOOD HANOVER ships in for a new barn, recently added Lasix and may improve versus this weak group. (5) STELLA'S PHELLA is 0 for 57 and counting but he continues to race well. If it were me I would take him to Monti or Plainridge, jog at 1/9 then come back to Yonkers still eligible for this class. (7) THINK BIGGER gets Bartlett in the bike for his local return.
Race 4
(7) WATTS WAS I DRINKN ships to the bigger circuit for Allard sporting a perfect career record. I'd like to see her win but won't accept too short a price. (5) NOMATTERWHATYOUSAY ships from Philly looking for two straight; Dube drives. (2) FROG POND PRINCESS is another shipper joining a new barn; consider.
Race 5
(2) SUNKEN TREASURE debuts for Milici off a winning qualifier and draws well here against a suspect group. (6) SHIFT RIGHT has good speed but clearly needs to show more late. (4) ROLL WITH FRED has hung in the late stages in three consecutive races; tough to endorse on top.
Race 6
(2) ALWAYS COVERS was jammed in traffic but finished with plenty of pace in her local debut; she faces tougher tonight but is worth considering if the price is right. (1) KEYSTONE PAULA closed well from a tough spot last out and now moves all the way inside; logical. (5) ART INSTRUCTOR came from off the pace last week and kept chugging to get the job done and upset; she's looking for four straight.
Race 7
(6) CHEYENNE TRIENGEL has been unlucky with the post draws but she has a live move in her and changes hands to Zeron. (1) HEARTS WILD just missed when last seen locally and Bartlett's back driving. (4) NORTHERN SOIREE has some speed and the talented Bongiorno driving.
Race 8
(8) MR D'S DRAGON fired from the eight hole last out and was game in defeat; gets the call despite another poor post. (4) LONE SURVIVOR debuts for Johnson/Bongiorno and looms a big threat off that angle. (2) MACHARATI finished evenly last out and could hang around for a share.
Race 9
(2) PRETTY BOY HILL ships in for very live connections showing decent form; top billing from this good inside post. (5) STOVER has been a steady commodity all season and he can make some noise from this spot. (1) ELWELL gets much-needed post relief off two no-chance trips.
Race 10
(5) WACO BRUISER moves up in class off a nice win but faces nothing special here; sharp sort can repeat. (3) ROCKIN ROBERT gets post relief and can be close up. (1) JK ALLNITELONG debuts for Allard via claim and draws best.
Race 11
(4) DO OVER HANOVER just failed to a horse who came back and won; Dube should be firing early. (5) DR J HANOVER bumps up a notch in class looking for four straight. (2) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING was pretty live last week and should offer some value.
Race 12
(7) MAXI BON was rather dull last out after being uncovered a long way; Allard trainee is tough to pass on dropping back to this level. (3) HI HO STEVERINO was pretty good in defeat last week. (5) MEMORY GAME ships back to Yonkers and was facing better when last seen here.
