Race 1
(2) FOOLISH HEART raced okay here in two starts then qualified well after missing a month of action; filly deserves top billing from this good inside post. (4) CAVIART CHERIE gets a driver/trainer change here and was likely facing better out of town. (5) LUCKY AND GOOD has had moderate success in the lower level Excelsiors and hails from nice connections.
Race 2
(1) ALLBASSNOTREBLE was a nice upset winner upon arrival but has been unable to replicate that effort; perhaps the post relief helps and she should be a decent price. (4) HAMMER TIME gets Dube in the bike for Svanstedt; always a good angle. (3) PRICELESSPOSSESSION went a huge trip in an amateur event at The Meadowlands and now she gets Abbatiello in the bike,
Race 3
(1) BETTER B ROLLING was an impressive winner in his career debut then was MIA for almost five months but he qualified back nicely at his Saratoga base and looks ready to roll tonight. (8) MAJOR HUMOR has been erratic for Banca and may be totally dead on the board from this spot but it's hard to completely throw him out, considered there isn't much else in here. (3) JK PRIDENJOY tired on the front end last out but likely needed the start.
Race 4
(5) PERFECT CHAPTER AS added the hobbles and just missed last out at Philly; I love the Lorentzon/Bartlett combo. (6) MUZZY'S MUSCLES was a nice winner here two back and must be respected off that effort. (4) UKNOWWHATTODO could show more in his second start after shipping in and joining the Allard barn.
Race 5
(2) QUEEN JOSEPHINE has performed well recently in the NYSS and will be favored to speed-pop this group. (3) WINDSUN BROOKLYN looks like the main threat but the Lachance trainee has missed some time off a sick scratch. (5) OSPREY BLUE CHIP qualified in good order after those breaks and she does have a win over this surface.
Race 6
(1) MR MONTGOMERY should be in line for a perfect trip from this spot provided he minds his manners. (3) THE LAST CHAPTER exits NYSS company, where he didn't race badly. (2) SHIVERED can be close up throughout.
Race 7
(7) DRUNKONAPLANE has looked sharp in two local appearances; this is a tougher spot but the price should be more enticing. (6) AMERICANFIREWATER certainly looks fast enough and hails from hot connections. (3) THEATER MAJOR beat similar last out and can certainly repeat.
Race 8
(3) ANN HILL was a NYSS winner here last month and this barn has been sending them here sharp. (1) BEACH CLUB has good speed and the best draw. (3) SWEETEST EMOTION needs to pick up her game but she should be close from this spot.
Race 9
(8) PRETTY REAL DESIRE is stuck in the worst post but she's proven she can go with this type; let's see if Brennan can improve position early. (4) TRACY'S DESIRE returns locally off a nice win at Saratoga. (6) SKINNY DIPPER has been a major disappointment; use caution.
Race 10
(2) NOX VEGAS BLUECHIP was second best to a tough winner last week; sharp sort can score tonight. (5) BEACH OGRE will be firing hard with Bartlett. (1) WESTERN TYRANT has clear ability and should never be too far back.
Race 11
(2) MANIANA never fired with her best last week but I'll give the Burke trainee a chance to turn it around. (5) WISHY WASHY GIRL is another Banca trainee that Bartlett will have in the game early. (3) FROG POND PRINCESS can save ground and hold off the rest.
Race 12
(1) NEVER SAY NEVER N was uninvolved last week in his debut for the Banca barn but was storming home late; all systems go from the rail. (5) FATHER SARDUCCI returns locally off a series of decent efforts at Philly. (2) DOUBLESHOTAHOTT may be stalking the top choice from the pocket; include.
