Best Bet: RU READY TO ROCK (12th) Spot Play: ECKSTROM (7th)

Race 1

(7) MATTJESTIC ART draws another poor post but this driver/trainer combo has been pretty live lately and this veteran doesn't have much to beat here. (1) ROCKNROLL BAND is making his third start off the layoff and he's capable of showing more. (8) MUSIC AGAIN will probably be flashing speed again.

Race 2

(3) BATTLESHOE VIOLA should be forwardly placed off the gate and much like race one, Stalbaum doesn't have much to beat. (5) TANGO DANCER returns in slightly better form than when she left. (4) GLIDE SPEED ships in for Ackerman, who has had local success with another one of his trotters.

Race 3

(3) KENTUCKY ALL STAR gets post relief and just missed two back. (5) MC GILLACUDY HENRY closed well to be second best last out; Brennan drives again. (2) MICKEY BLU has Sears driving, not realy much else to endorse here.

Race 4

(3) LUCERNE DE VIE qualified back nicely after that miscue in her last pari-mutuel start; she has some hidden form if you ignore those breaks. (6) TROTTIN TROY plummets in class and is clearly the one to beat. (4) PEGASUS POINT should be able to land a share.

Race 5

(5) TINYS MILLION is back down in class off that very aggressive try versus better; he can be a decent price in this competitive field. (3) LILYS HI HO has been sharp for Garcia-Herrera. (2) MIXED MEDIA drops and gets some post relief.

Race 6

(8) AFRICAN QUEEN has proven that she has plenty of gate speed to overcome the outside post; to the front? (2) BETTORTHANICECREAM hasn't been all that bad out of town. (1) MIDNIGHT MASS draws best and should be close up throughout.

Race 7

(2) ECKSTROM launched a menacing wide move, then got hung through the final turn and understandably tired; don't forget that this veteran has plenty of speed and back class. (4) BEWARE OF DARKNESS fizzled out on the front end last out; he fits at this level and must be considered. (7) TUFFOFTHETOUGHEST gets some class relief, also has speed.

Race 8

(1) THINKYOUCANDANCE won upon arrival and is a threat to do it again. (2) PACIN YANKEE was a no-match second best to the top choice; runner-up again? (5) SIR LBS Z TAM has some Sire Stakes experience.

Race 9

(2) NEW YORK KITTY was rebuffed last out in a 110K Sire Stakes event; Casie Coleman filly should find these more to her liking. (1) POCO GRANNY has speed and the rail for Stalbaum. (4) RYDER BLUE CHIP is another stakes-caliber filly who should fit well here.

Race 10

(4) CAMS ORACLE tried to leave last week, took back to last and disappeared; he's better than that. (2) BETTORS CURSE debuts for Cassar via claim and the gelding looks like a good fit here. (7) JK CAMELOT flashed good speed versus better last out,

Race 11

(6) MOSEE TERROR closed well, but too late from third over in his latest effort; he needs to be closer to the action. (3) WEIGH THE ODDS was a big disappointment in his debut for Casie Coleman. (2) MAGNUS DEO has never been one of my favorites, but I have to admit he's been racing well recently.

Race 12

(7) RU READY TO ROCK was flashing speed and racing well versus tougher at Harrah's Philly; Virgil Morgan Jr. trainee should find these to his liking. (1) E STREET PLAN gets another crack at the rail off that no-excuse effort.
