Race 1
(6) THAT'S AMAZING has shown good speed at Pocono since moving to the Allard barn and that should translate well shipping into Yonkers. (2) SO LONG DARLING was a decent third last week in the Excelsior timed in 1:55 2/5; Lachance trainee certainly seems fast enough to compete here. (4) FEARLESS BEAUTY looks very erratic in her brief career but that was a nice win last out; Bartlett opts off, however.
Race 2
(2) NIHILATED TRUTH almost looks too good to be true shipping in from Hoosier off two super efforts to start his 4-year-old campaign; he joins a barn that's been going well of late and looms a very short price. (1) BRACKLEY BEACH does appear to have a bit of talent and he gets needed post relief. (3) FORDHAM SIXTY TWO was never in it before breaking last out; prior efforts were competitive.
Race 3
(1) AVATAR J was simply awesome last week dominating from the eight hole and is clearly the one to beat here. (6) ALBERGO HANOVER ships from Ontario in good form and joins the Jenn Bongiorno barn; he's the main threat to the top choice. (5) ALI raced well last week for Lachance upon arrival.
Race 4
(5) STONEBRIDGE HONEY hasn't raced that badly in her last few since adding Lasix and she should be a big price in a field with no standouts. (2) MYLITTLESURFERGIRL was second best to a good one last out in her local return. (1) ESCAPE AGAIN raced evenly last week and hit the ticket; draws best again and should be close up.
Race 5
(5) MCTHIRSTY didn't tire that badly despite a less-than-ideal trip last week and he wouldn't shock me at all from this spot. (6) BROOKIES PRINCE N took care of business at 1/9 last out and is certainly good enough to repeat, but I refuse to take a short price on him. (1) A FARMBOYS SUCCESS gets much-needed post relief.
Race 6
(5) PARTY BOY certainly seems to have the ability and can be excused for last week's tough spot; I'll give him top billing though I would have liked to have seen a catch-driver listed. (7) JOE SIX PACK is perfect in two starts since switching to Brennan. (2) JOHN DALLY gets some post relief; consider.
Race 7
(2) JOJO'S PET ROCK sat the trip and blew right past the leader for the easy score last week; Allard trainee seems sharp enough to repeat. (1) SOMEBADDUDE had trouble on the final turn chasing the top ones last week but still looks second best from this spot. (6) IMSTAYINALIVE has hinted at ability for Lachance; closing threat?
Race 8
(1) MELANIE'S FILLY looks for three straight front-end scores and should have the tactical advantage on these. (2) QUEEN JOSEPHINE was game in defeat chasing uncovered last out and will be in line for a better trip. (3) PIRINEA'S PRINCESS should save ground from this spot and can finish well.
Race 9
(3) FULLBACK has never been better and should control the action once again at a short price. (5) OZONE BLUE CHIP was a good trip-sitting second last week in an improved effort and he does have early speed at his disposal. (1) MAGRITTE may be a notch below these but he gets much-needed post relief.
Race 10
(7) ODDS ON DELRAY was a rock-solid second best last week; I'll give him the call despite another tough outside post. (2) ALEPPO HANOVER took lesser coast to coast upon arrival. (4) OCEAN COLONY has looked good in qualifying trials but that recent pari-mutuel start was dreadful.
