Race 1

(3) LIGHTNING RIDGE N drops in price after racing well in his debut for new connections; why? (8) DONTAKEYOURGUNS has the speed to overcome the outside post. (2) MATTJESTIC ART lands an inside spot and could threaten. **Please note that as of this writing I'm assuming that the Lou Pena trainees will be scratched.**

Race 2

(1) ONLY ON BROADWAY was stalling on the rim before he broke last week; he's back at the level of his upset win. (6) MR JIM DANDY was solid upon his return for Julie Miller. (2) ROSE RUN IVAN is an interesting shipper who picks up Brennan.

Race 3

(2) TUFFOFTHETOUGHEST has been long overdue for a local win and having Brennan driving with the good post certainly helps his cause. (6) KEYSTONE RIDEAU drops back to the basement but he's seen better days. (4) ANOTHER MIKE has speed to contend here.

Race 4

(4) CRYPTO MAN drops in class and should be forwardly placed here. (2) CINDERELLA MAN has fallen on hard times lately, but he still must considered from this spot. (1) SCHALOM G hails from a barn that is hard-pressed for a victory.

Race 5

(2) DETERMINE THIS drops, lands inside and is the obvious one to beat here. (4) LONESOME CRUISER woke up with a nice effort last week. (5) BULLVILLE PLAYER is capable of landing a share with a ground-saving trip.

Race 6

(7) PAPER LUCK won at first asking for the very live Buter outfit; veteran may be sharp enough to handle the class hike. (1) BOX CAR JOHNNIE dropped to this level but was uninvolved from post eight; obvious threat from the rail. (3) ALL POWERFUL should be close to the action and can rally for a share.

Race 7

Trainer Alex Wieder Jr. handed the lines to (2) WINDSUN BELLAGIO to a catch-driver two back, and the trotter has shown some improvement. Tonight Brennan drives and he's worth a long look. (3) MONTANACHAMPIONNE should be able to compete at this level. (5) APEACHTOREMEMBER has speed, stamina is the issue.

Race 8

(4) BIG BAD BAYLEE debuts for Banca and the filly has plenty of speed. (5) AFRICAN QUEEN was very game in defeat last out. (6) VANITY FAIREST was respectable in her two local appearances

Race 9

(4) BELLA MARTA raced okay in NYSS action up at Vernon; she should be nice and tight for this event. (5) TANZANITE HANOVER picks up Buter for her local debut and she's capable of improvement. (2) NO FAULTZ almost went down the road at a big price last out.

Race 10

(1) SOUTHWIND TABOR had pace but no realistic chance last week; he should win this on memory alone. (3) SOUTHWIND MILO lands an improved post, has some speed. (2) BACCARAT STENA loves rallying late, which he can do from this spot after saving ground.

Race 11

(5) LISTOWEL deserves top billing based on his current form. (3) STONEBRIDGE ROCKET lands an improved post. (2) UPSCALE HANOVER has been rather flat recently but he does get some class relief.
