Race 1
(7) STAND BY ME was very impressive in her career debut and deserves a follow-up play despite the missed time and outside post. (1) THE FOOLALWAYSROCKS ships from Delaware and should be competitive from this spot. (5) MD PLAYMATE raced well in defeat last out getting collared by the top choice.
Race 2
(3) HIDDEN IDENTITY returns locally for Milici off a front end score at Monti and he picks up Bartlett. (4) LATOKA has been good out of town and has some back class. (2) HOORAYFORVACATION draws well again but needs to show more late.
Race 3
(5) APLIN HANOVER has held his own versus some decent stock at The Meadows and he should fit nicely here. (4) HORSING AROUND finished well from too far back in his local debut and he will be much more involved tonight. (6) COMMANDISCOURTESY wasn't doing much when last seen locally but he really found his stride in his last few at Philly.
Race 4
(4) PIERCEWAVE HANOVER gets needed class and post relief for Allard/Dube, and that tandem has heated up lately. (2) SOUL TRAIN drops, draws well and the veteran should be a player. (3) SUPER MANNING disappointed in a big way last out; he's better than that.
Race 5
(4) THEATER MAJOR looks like he's come back sharp to start his 3-year-old campaign; he looks as good as any here in this competitive field. (5) TREASURE MACH rallied willingly for second last out with Lasix added. (3) FORTUNECOOKIESLIE moves to the Banca barn and gets Bartlett; respect.
Race 6
(3) SHADY STELLA makes her second start for the Surick barn and those qualifiers seem to show that she's ready for action. (2) BAD MAMA is one of a few Team Teague shippers and this filly should be close up throughout. (1) HEARTS WILD seems capable of saving ground and closing for a share.
Race 7
(1) FAMOUS PADDY has raced well showing good speed in all recent efforts and she usually provides value. (3) QUEEN JOSEPHINE blasted down the road in her debut for new connections and is likely the one to beat. (2) GORGEOUS HALIE returns for Teague and did flash good speed from the eight hole in a local appearance three back.
Race 8
(3) JK ONAROLL has no current form but he debuts tonight for Milici off a private sale and picks up Bartlett; is a turnaround coming? (5) SIR PUGSLEY steps up off a win and could have more to offer. (6) MAX IS BACK seems to need more in the late stages.
Race 9
(4) HYPOTHETICAL is perfect to start his 3-year-old season for Croghan and he could be primed to take another in this tough-to-figure event. (3) CULTURAL PARADISE charged home to take his last two for DiDomenico and Bartlett drives again. (5) CAPTAIN DINGER ships in for Burke with good form; consider.
Race 10
(5) ROCK ME BABY hinted at serious ability last season and she qualified effectively; she's likely better than these and should be used on top assuming the intent is there. (1) FROG POND PRINCESS failed last week at odds-on but she's get good speed and landed the best post again. (6) HEELS ON THE BEACH was uninvolved last week but she does move in a couple of slots tonight.
Race 11
(1) SURE FIRED BET burst home to score the minor upset last out and the Andrew Harris trainee may offer the best price of the contenders here. (3) DAY TRADE HANOVER charged home from last upon arrival and looms a major player but will probably be overbet. (2) ALLWILLWORKOUT returns locally looking for four straight.
Race 12
(4) ANOTHER DAILY COPY took care of business at odds-on last out and should do the same here. (5) SETTLEMOIR finally gets a bit of a break in the post draw and can be considered for a share. (1) ENDEAVOR makes his seasonal debut for Lachance; does he need a race?
