Yonkers: Monday 4/3 Analysis

Best Bet: ST KITTS (9th)
Spot Play: HOME JAMES (8th)
MEET STATS: 108 - 325 / $634.80
BEST BETS: 16 - 29 / $56.10
Race 1
(3) IDEAL ICE has been second in 6 of 8 lifetime tries and she ships from Delaware joining the Banca barn and picks up leading driver Bartlett; that 5/1 morning line is awfully generous. (6) ANGELINMYWAY was facing tougher in the Petticoat. (4) STORMTRACKER beat the top choice last out in her career debut and she can clearly have more to offer.
Race 2
(4) GIANNI has had some success here in the past and meets a field with some suspect rivals. (6) SIXTEEN MILES has plenty of speed but needs to show more late. (5) SEVRUGA hasn't been in this cheap in forever but his form has been awful.
Race 3
(2) MAJESTIC DREAMS broke her maiden up at Saratoga and now she picks up Stratton for her local debut; worth a play in a race where it's tough to endorse anyone. (6) GIVE UP THE GHOST fired hard last out for Schnittker and she's probably the one to beat here. (3) JENNA HANOVER didn't race badly in her local debut.
Race 4
(2) JIMMY WINTIPS has hinted at promise in his first two lifetime starts and he ships from Canada to join the Andrew Harris barn; worth a look in his local debut. (4) BECKARAMA blasted down the road at Saratoga and seems fast enough to go with these. (7) CULTURAL PARADISE was sharp in that qualifier and Bartlett sticks with him.
Race 5
(4) I LUV BLACKHAWKRED broke while firing from the gate last out in an added-distance event; trotter should be a very nice price here and is worth considering. (3) LUCKY COLBY has really tailed off after a promising start to his season. (2) AWSOME VALLEY qualified back effectively after stopping the start prior.
Race 6
(1) BROOKLETS DYNAMITE didn't fire at all in his last but he draws best tonight and perhaps trainer DiDomenico has figured some things out with the gelding; at a price. (3) ANDY'S IDEAL was comically overbet in his 2017 debut and had too far to come. (4) OGDEN BLUE CHIP tries a new venue for Harris and may show more in his third lifetime start.
Race 7
(1) GIMME SOME LOVIN ripped out of the pocket to score at 12/1 last out; price will be shorter tonight but she's certainly capable of repeating. (2) TWENTY THREE RED couldn't hack a two-move eight-hole effort; prior start from an inside post was solid. (6) NIC MAC PATTY MACH keeps Bartlett and may try leaving for position.
Race 8
(1) HOME JAMES was aggressively put on the front end last out in the Sagamore and was inhaled by better rivals; his prior start he showed closing pace and he could be set up nicely here with a stalking trip. (2) JK NOWORNEVER steps up a notch while razor-sharp. (7) SUNKEN TREASURE was aggressively handled in that qualifier and could be ready for action right off the bench.
Race 9
(2) ST KITTS was second best to the powerful Cousin Mary in the Petticoat final and she should be able to handle these. (1) IDEAL PRINCESS has put in back-to-back gutsy efforts and is the main threat from this spot. (7) REI'S STAR CROSS had been great up until last week's Petticoat where she was totally uninvolved; she could be a closing threat tonight.
Race 10
(2) SHOW THE FASHION had good pace once escaping a shuffle last out in a Sagamore division; he looks like the controlling speed from this spot. (1) ALL DOWN THE LINE gets needed post relief and was a winner when last inside. (5) VEGAS DREAM came up flat last out after jamming up the field early; he was an upset winner three back at this level.
Race 11
(6) FREEZE OUT has quietly had a solid season and she usually offers value, which will likely be the case from this spot. (3) KEYSTONE RIPTIDE didn't reach last week but should be more involved from this improved post. (8) SQUARE DANCER will be firing from the gate with Bartlett.
Race 12
(5) DERECHO proved an easy winner versus one notch lesser and may be sharp enough to repeat as the likely second choice. (6) ANOTHER DAILY COPY was tons the best last out at 1/9 and should be considered the one to beat again. (3) BALLERAT BOOMERANG was just denied last week after a rugged try.
