Race 1
(2) ANGELINMYWAY hinted at ability in the Petticoat and is worth a look from this much-improved post. (5) TAKEYOURBREATHAWAY ships in from Canada with good form over the half mile at Flamboro. (3) DOUBLE DOWN JO also arrives from Canada and joins the sharp Andrew Harris barn; Gingras drives.
Race 2
(2) DREAM ROCKER is erratic but more than capable on his best day. (1) TAROT returns locally off another blowout score but he hasn't proven he can behave himself consistently. (3) TROUBLE RIEU N is a rare Tritton horse who underperforms.
Race 3
(1) KEYSTONE PHOENIX raced very well last out at a big price for Schnittker and there's no reason why he can't beat these tonight. (5) OCTANE BLUE CHIP has been going fast enough but needs to show more late. (7) MAJOR HUMOR makes his second start for new trainer Banca and could be more involved.
Race 4
(5) DRIVING MISS CRAZY ships in for Garcia-Herrera off a win at Pocono and seems to fit well here. (3) LONG STORY SHORT has been around seemingly forever and still has what it takes to win. (7) PASADENA STAR was an easy winner three back on the engine and he drops a notch in class here; could be showing early speed.
Race 5
(3) YEAHBOYYEAH was tons the best in just his second lifetime start and clearly the Mark Ford trainee can have more to offer. (4) PINKRIBBON WARRIOR has been very sharp in his last two for Harris and he looms the main threat. (2) AUSTIN ROCKS was a good second two back from an inside post.
Race 6
(6) SEETHELIGHTSNGO ships up from Delaware and picks up Bartlett for his local debut; perhaps the change in scenery helps her cause. (2) ANGELS ROCKN PINK is a legit threat to go all the way on the engine. (3) AMATEUR HOUR gets needed post relief and should be more involved.
Race 7
(6) DECLARATION OF WAR has raced very well in practically every start this year without a win to show for it and this barn just missed the other night with a big longshot. (7) GAIUS CRASTINUS fits well with these and I have to believe Bongiorno will be on the move early. (2) ZAMPARA makes his 3-year-old debut tonight off a decent qualifier; consider.
Race 8
(1) SANTIAGO STYLE was aggressively handled in last but was outbattled late; a similar effort tonight could be enough to beat these. (5) WHAT'S GOIN ON had a nice freshman campaign, qualified nicely and was Zeron's choice. (6) HOME JAMES was an easy pocket-sitting winner last out but this looks like a tougher spot tonight.
Race 9
(4) PRETTY REAL DESIRE raced better last out and hails from the hot DiDomenico barn; worth a try if the price is good. (1) FROG POND PRINCESS just got nailed on the wire last week at a big price and now she moves all the way inside. (5) WINNERS OVER tries Bartlett tonight and could improve.
Race 10
(8) CLASSY DRAGON is perfect so far in 2017 and despite bumping up in class he faces no standouts; Zeron will be firing early. (4) ITS JUST TOO MUCH has raced very well in his two seasonal starts and always offers a good price. (3) VEGAS DREAM will be flashing speed from this spot with Brennan driving.
Race 11
(1) ALL ABOUT MADI has been very sharp since moving to the Robertson barn and the mare can trip out from this spot. (5) IDEAL PRINCESS almost had too far to come last week at odds-on but prevailed; she bumps up in class here but has been very good. (3) A CRAFTY LADY was Dube's choice driving for Allard.
Race 12
(2) WINNING LINC got going late as the pace slowed last out and was close at the wire; Banca trainee draws well and picks up Sears. (4) NEVER SAY NEVER N was outgamed in last ending his winning streak but he still looms the one to beat here. (1) MAGICAL COWBOY returns to Gingras, who handled him well in the Sagamore.
