Best Bet: P L LESTER (3rd)

Spot Play: TWIN B SPEEDO (12th)

MEET STATS: 38 - 103 / $197.00 (-$9.00)

BEST BETS: 6 - 9 / $18.70 (+$0.70)

Race 1

(2) CARDIFF aired it out on the front end in her local debut for new connections and got a bit leg weary late but it was still a good effort; mare figures to be tighter tonight. (7) HEY SWEETIE raced well in local debut but is stuck outside again; Brennan needs to improve position early for her best chance. (5) LADY ELLA broke leaving upon arrival and now the pacer puts the hobbles back on and qualified evenly; consider.

Race 2

(2) TIME OUTA JAIL takes a needed drop in class, draws well and was a winner when last at this level with Bartlett driving. (5) WINNING PRINCESS held pretty well in a two-move effort last out and rated highly here. (4) BALTIMOR AS has his moments and has raced well here in the past.

Race 3

(5) P L LESTER got away last from post eight last week and never got involved but did finish with pace after the fact; DiDomenico trainee lands in a very soft spot tonight and looks much the best. (3) DAKOTA OLE inherited second last week when the leader bolted but it was still a decent enough effort to consider him here. (1) CHEYENNE DANNY figures to work out a good stalking trip from this spot.

Race 4

(2) HUNDIE N went a decent two-move effort to be second best to the well-rated favorite last week with Lasix added and he deserves a long look here from this much-improved post. (5) REBEL ROUSER has been looking very sharp recently at The Meadowlands, much improved from when he was last at Yonkers. (4) DELRAY DUDE blew away cheaper last out and now debuts for Burke.

Race 5

(1) LEAN ON WHO hasn't gone the easiest of trips in her two starts after the Burke purchase but she gets another crack from the rail while facing some questionable foes. (5) PELICAN BLUE CHIP has raced very well in her last three for Allard and looms the one to beat. (4) SWEET ANA HANOVER is another live player here from a currently live barn.

Race 6

(3) COOL BLUES MAN was very stubborn in defeat last week as he just could not get over the leader in a tough uncovered try; he draws better here and may not have to work as hard. (8) ALTA SHELBY N was a good second to a strong winner last out; only problem here is the eight hole (obviously). (2) JK MUSICMAN goes for Garcia-Herrera now and qualified fine with fresh Lasix.

Race 7

(4) ROBYN CAMDEN made a nice move from behind dull cover and sustained it well to draw away from a couple of good rivals last week; she faces some tough ones again but has the talent to repeat for Dexter Dunn, who seems to be driving with much more confidence recently. (2) MISS YOU N made an equally impressive move last week versus a bit lesser and came up just short; interesting that Bartlett is lested tonight instead of Stratton. (3) B FIFTEEN has hit the ticket in her last six and figures to take home another good share.

Race 8

(2) PROLOGUE has looked very good since moving to the Allard barn and was simply outmuscled late by an equally sharp rival; he's clearly the one to deny here. (3) WILD WEST put in a valiant effort in defeat versus NW5000 types; Bucci trainee actually may be well spotted in this condition racing for double the money. (5) WHOS BETTER went evenly in that qualifier and anything from the Lance Hudson barn needs to be considered.

Race 9

(4) ROCK LIGHTS won easily last week looking like he had something left; Andrew Harris trainee can repeat but won't offer much value. (3) WESTERN BEACHBOY can be a bit hard to gauge but maybe the switch to Gingras helps. (1) CHEESE MELT has speed and the best post for Brennan/Burke and he can certainly be excused for tiring in that last effort.

Race 10

(4) ODDS ON LAUDERDALE was racing great at The Meadowlands and was his last tiring effort he was facing some very tough foes; Alagna trainee can get it done shipping in here to a competitive event. (3) BABES DIG ME has come back sharp from vacation and obviously has a huge chance. (2) SOCK IT AWAY was a winning machine in the Maritimes last year and he acclimated well here last week.

Race 11

(2) SLICK ARTIST A had no real excuse from the pocket last week but his prior efforts were super in defeat and she deserves another try. (1) LINE DANCER has speed and may be taking this field down the road. (8) CATCH AN ACE has missed some time off the sick scratch and now lands the eight hole; mixed feelings.

Race 12

(3) TWIN B SPEEDO hasn't been that bad in any recent effort and he draws his best post in some time while facing no standouts. (1) MACINTOSH N is always a big threat at this level from an inside post. (2) SHOREVIEW returns from Dover and has raced well here in the past.
