Race 1
(3) TWIST OF FATE arrives from Delaware in sharp form, meets a soft field and looks tough to beat in the opener. (6) QUEEN JOSEPHINE just missed in her last local appearance. (2) LADY LARK hasn't missed a check in recent efforts and she can hit the ticket from this inside post.
Race 2
(2) DREAMSTEELER has missed some time but still deserves top billing based on post and current form. (5) WESTERN CREDIT drops in class for the potent Allard barn. (6) BALTIMOR AS is compromised by the outside post but he fits with these.
Race 3
(5) MAXI POWERS arrives from Canada for good connections and could be ready to roll at first asking versus this weak group. (1) KA MATE didn't seem ready at The Meadowlands but he may show more here; Brennan drives. (2) JK NOWORNEVER paced over a tired field last out; don't accept a short price.
Race 4
(1) SWEET JUSTICE has had his moments in the past; maybe the change in venue helps his cause. (3) MASSIVE TALENT faces a notch tougher off a good win at the added distance. (2) LO RAIL CROSSING has had good form for some time now and was reclaimed by Hudson.
Race 5
(1) NIC NAC PATTY MACH has flashed good speed in her two local efforts and Bartlett should be right there from start to finish from the best post. (7) NORTHERN SOIREE was gaining on the top ones last out and didn't miss by much; she's in good form but may need a bit of help from out there. (2) TWENTY THREE RED has been a good money-maker at this level in her four 2017 starts.
Race 6
(5) HEARTS WILD clearly needed last week's race after missing almost a month and she's shown in the past she can compete with these; not impossible with a smooth trip. (2) STONEBRIDGE PEARL exits series action at Woodbine and should go well here. (3) POKERFACE can usually be counted on for a share.
Race 7
(5) ROCKET J gets a fresh set of hands with his regular driver opting elsewhere and maybe that can get him to the next level. (6) TANGO STAR was wildly overbet in his local debut and didn't deliver; better price tonight. (2) SURE FIRED BET is another Canadian shipper for the Harris barn but this one doesn't have much current form.
Race 8
(3) FINAL JUSTICE managed to cop the final check last week from the eight hole; major post relief should help his cause. (7) BERING SEA HANOVER arrives from Ohio for Harris, who's bringing them in from everywhere; Bartlett drives. (4) SHIFT RIGHT lacks late stamina and I can't see him lasting versus these.
Race 9
(4) MADE OF JEWELS AS leaves the Burke barn and debuts for Bucci off some steady efforts with this type; mare will offer more value than others in here. (3) SKINNY DIPPER gets needed post relief but I suspect she'll be overbet from this spot. (1) LO HOLD A MOONBEAN could not overcome an awful start last week; better price tonight.
Race 10
(3) AZUL POOL came from nowhere last week to just miss; clearly the Burke trainee will be much closer to the action tonight. (1) DAKOTA JACK gave it a good try from the eight hole before tiring, he's back inside and won't have to be used as hard early. (2) NIMBLE AND QUICK will be close up throughout and can hold for a share.
Race 11
(4) SHOW THE FASHION catches a pretty suspect group tonight and his current form states he can take this. (1) MAAJAAKKOBE gets serious post relief and has good speed. (3) RODEO ROCK has underachieved in his career but we've been led to believe the talent is there.
