MEET STATS: 468 - 1298 / $2,499.80
BEST BETS: 66 - 112 / $212.60
Race 1
(1) NIHILATED TRUTH has looked like a completely different horse in his last two and he can take another from this cozy post. (4) CRIUS N ROCK has been racing evenly out of town but he does have a win over this surface (in a low-level Excelsior event); Harris trainee has Bartlett driving and must be respected. (3) CHEYENNE DANNY is also kind of in the same boat; good connections but just so-so form.
Race 2
(4) INSTRUCTOR was second best to a sharp odds-on winner last week and the Burke trainee can take the next logical step tonight. (1) GOLD RUSH has raced well since arriving from Canada and is an obvious player from this spot. (5) KEYSTONE PHOENIX picks up a check seemingly every start and he does have a bit of early speed in his arsenal; consider for a share.
Race 3
(6) LINE DANCER was a well-rated winner last week from an inside post but she does have the early speed overcome the outside slot tonight; Bucci trainee will be trouble again if she hits the front. (5) SHEEZA GNP N has plenty of ability for Triitton but she hasn't shown the ability to leave the gate yet; will that put her at a tactical disadvantage? (2) DREAMS ON ME is an interesting shipper who merit some respect.
Race 4
(3) B FIFTEEN doesn't have much current form as she arrives from Canada but she goes first-time Banca and maybe the change in venue helps. (1) TIFFANY ROCKS AS gets needed post relief and may show more. (5) TWIN B HALO faces a bit of a softer field tonight.
Race 5
(6) BACKSTREET SHADOW has been a terror in Ontario this season and now the 3-year-old ships in for live connections; expect the good times to continue. (3) AVATOR J had plenty of pace from the pocket to be second best last week and he'll be right there again with another live tip. (5) IDEAL FEELING closed crisply to be second best to Jimmy Freight at Pocono; note a barn change, however.
Race 6
(3) POKERFACE BLUECHIP overcame early adversity and won very comfortably last week; he seems capable of repeating, especially with the post edge on his main rivals. (6) PRO BEACH was second best to a big favorite last out and the Takter trainee can be forwardly placed again. (7) TWIN B TUFFENUFF was a game three-move winner in his local return; he'll have to overcome another tough post tonight.
Race 7
(4) PELICAN BLUE CHIP couldn't make it to the wire last week but it was an improved effort for the Burke trainee; filly figures to try going down the road again. (3) SHELLIE DE VIE had raced just evenly since hiking to the NW4 level but she does get some post relief. (1) A OLIVEINMYMARTINI didn't race badly last out but it's kind of ironic that she lost at odds-on after shocking the world at 82/1; what price do you take tonight?
Race 8
(3) CROSS MY MIND is another Woodbine/Mohawk shipper who seems to fit in nicely here and he joins a barn that sent out some live ones the other night. (1) LYONS STEEL has good speed and the best draw; threat. (3) WILD WEST returns off a failed try at Saratoga and may need to step up his game here; use underneath.
Race 9
(1) BABES DIG ME managed to get the job done at 1/9 two back, then cruised from the pocket last week at a pretty generous mutuel; Alagna trainee can make it three straight from this spot. (5) ARAMIS N charged home from an awful spot last week to be third best; will he be at a tactical disadvantage again? Possible. (3) ALEPPO HANOVER figures to be leaving for position and can sit the live trip.
