Race 1
(5) IVESEENTHEFUTURE had traffic issues in her local debut so it's hard to tell how much pace she had but I'm willing to give her another try if the price is right. (2) GHOSTTOTHEPOST has Stratton driving again for Schnittker and she moves inside off a nice closing effort. (3) VIRGINITE makes her career debut off some so-so qualifiers but these connections have to be respected.
Race 2
(6) ZAGSTER moves into the Allard barn and most of that stock has appeared ready to go off the winter hiatus; top billing. (2) POWERFUL YIELD draws well enough and picks up Kakaley. (3) PISTOLS ASPIRATION ships from Saratoga for connections that have had success here in the past.
Race 3
(5) PARTYON PARTYGIRL rallied well last week and almost got second in a needed start; Surick trainee seems capable and should offer some value in this evenly-matched field. (4) BEACH JUMPER crushed cheaper at a huge overlay price last out and the Jenn Bongiorno trainee may be up to this task. (6) PELICAN BLUE CHIP hasn't had much luck with the post draws but the Allard trainee still needs to be included.
Race 4
(1) NOBLE WARRAWEE is a hard-knocking veteran trotter who is more than capable of taking this field wire-to-wire. (4) WINNING PRICESS picks up Brennan upon arrival from Monti and should be a good fit at this basement level. (3) MUSCLE AVE recovered well from a break for new connections off the claim and was racing well here in prior starts.
Race 5
(5) WILD BILL nearly overcame an early break and missed a nose in a good try last week with Stratton driving; Schnittker trainee absolutely deserves another chance. (1) ROLL WITH JEFF beat a weak bunch in last but looked good doing it; rail and Bartlett make him a player. (4) TAKETHEMONEYANDRUN was both lucky and good winning last Monday; gelding looks for three straight.
Race 6
(5) CROSS MY MIND was lost in his last three over at The Meadowlands from tough spots but he was a winner here near the end of last year with Bartlett driving. (3) I RUN THIS SHOW was a nice off-the-pace winner down at Freehold and Brennan drove that day as well. (1) BRACKLEY BEACH broke last week while in some early confusion; he seems capable of saving ground and holding off the rest of these.
Race 7
(3) SEEN AT RIO DEO didn't really fire coming uncovered into a heavy favorite last week but the Allard trainee could be tighter tonight with Yannick driving again. (2) BULLVILLEKARLA shook free with good late pace last week after saving ground and she's a solid check-earner; use on all tickets. (5) LA ALWAYS AMARTINI has been good in all local starts since arriving for Auciello.
Race 8
(5) BETTOR THAN SPRING went a big effort in defeat in debut for new connections and the Ed Hart trainee clearly deserves top billing off that race. (8) WESTERN BEACHBOY was a blowout winner on the front end against a dull field last out and if he can generate some early speed again he'll be trouble. (6) ROCK LIGHTS has been racing much better recently and returns to Bartlett.
Race 9
(4) MACINTOSH N gets Bartlett in the bike for Vallee and the veteran is a good fit at this NW10000 level; to the front. (2) RAINBOW ROMANCE N doesn't win all that often but he lands a good post and can work out a live trip. (5) MACHTU N is hard to gauge sometimes but the Surick trainee has always had the talent.
Race 10
(5) CATCH AN ACE has been super since shipping from Canada to join the Andrew Harris barn and she handled lesser last week at 5 cents on the dollar; she may be good enough to handle the hike in class. (1) JAYE'S A LADY was a game uncovered dead-heat winner last week versus many of these and she looms large from the rail. (3) TELL ME A JOKE has closed nicely in her last two to be this best; use again underneath.
