Race 1
(5) SHELLIE DE VIE could not make the lead last week and could not sustain a second move; if the filly can clear the front she can go the distance. (4) I CHOOSE YOU has been very good in her last two and looms a solid threat. (1) ASPECIAL PRESENCE kept up okay last week and draws best again; use underneath.
Race 2
(1) PLATOON SEELSTER goes second-time with the hobbles and drops to the basement. (6) GLOBAL REVOLUTION also drops in class and one of these two should win this. (4) YOU CANT HABIT finished decently last out and was Dube's choice.
Race 3
(8) SURREAL ART raced well from too far back last week and Bartlett sticks with him despite another outside post; maybe he can get more aggressive early. (1) RED DIRT REBEL was a good second last out; Allard trainee is very logical from this spot. (3) TAKEHIKO went evenly in a local start a couple of months ago and he hails from good connections.
Race 4
(2) LYONS JENNIELEE was second best to a very sharp winner last out and prior to that had taken four straight. (6) COLOR ENVY was ready to go in her second local start for Lance Hudson and she may be talented enough to repeat. (7) BRONSKIMACKENZIE A was sharp last week but faces better now and is stuck outside.
Race 5
(7) KEY ADVISOR was a touch short from the pocket upon arrival but likely needed that start; Alagna trainee can be better tonight. (4) ROCKIN RUSTY has been consistently coming up a bit flat in the late stages but the Banca trainee still must be considered; Bartlett sticks. (3) GOLD RUSH ships from Canada and shows a recent win over the half-miler.
Race 6
(3) ARAMIS N tasted defeat for the first time last week when he was outbattled by a game foe; Tritton trainee should get right back on the winning track. (2) SAINT PETER took money and didn't race badly last out; consider. (1) CALIFORNIA CRUISIN gets some post relief and could show more.
Race 7
(1) BO MACH had a tough trip but was still game to the end in his second local start and the Hudson trainee seems ready to score. (2) ROCKIN INTHE HILLS gets Bartlett back in the bike and they teamed up for a win four back. (4) TITANIUM N always seems to race well when starting from a good post.
Race 8
(6) MICKY GEE N has been super taking his last four starts; he faces some legit talent inside of him tonight but that may help the price, (1) WHITTAKER N gets big-time post relief and will attract plenty of attention at the windows. (5) GHOST DANCE was a safe winner last week and may have to work a bit harder tonight to repeat.
Race 9
(3) POPPY DRAYTON N was too far back to get involved trailing in that wicked pace last week but she finished very willingly; she deserves a chance tonight from a much better spot. (4) SLICK ARTIST A was a good second last out, held at bay by a sharp winner. (5) LINE DANCER was last seen in the NYSS final and she could be forwardly placed here.
Race 10
(2) TAKE IT BACK TERRY was in a poor spot and had too far to come last out; there shouldn't be any excuses from this spot for the millionaire. (3) ANOTHER DAILY COPY does his best work a notch lower than these but the Banca trainee can come away with a good piece here. (4) HOT DEUCE gets post relief and could be more involved.
