Race 1
(3) THE SMIDGE was extremely impressive trouncing the field last week upon arrival and he could come right back despite losing Bartlett. (4) PREJUDICE has raced well in his last three since moving to the half-mile oval and note the barn change here. (5) STIRLING ESCORT broke at 3/5 two back, then had no chance last out from the eight hole. Consider at a price.
Race 2
(1) UP YOUR GAME needed last week's start after tiring in that qualifier versus some good rivals. Filly draws best in a listless field. (4) LEGIO X EQUESTRIS qualified willingly in preparation for her career debut. (3) ANOTHER LOOK has been aggressively handled in her two starts since moving to the Robertson barn but she fell flat on her face in both races.
Race 3
(2) BULLVILLE GG gets a huge barn change and a huge upgrade to Bartlett; does it matter how bad she looks on paper? (6) PRINCESS DELCINE raced pretty well upon arrival. (1) WITHOUT A DOUBT is 2 for 2 since moving to the Rousse barn.
Race 4
(7) PRETTY BOY HILL was outfinished late after battling a long way; Alagna trainee is sharp and deserves another shot. (1) MAURICE was an upset winner last out and lands another good post; MacDonald drives tonight. (3) BREAKTIME HANOVER has Bartlett back driving for Milici.
Race 5
(4) WINNING LINC was very game and stubborn last out in defeat and should be the better price with Bartlett opting elsewhere. (1) SHOW THE FASHION broke leaving last out but returns to the top driver and draws best. (2) MAAJAAKKOBE is just 2 for 31 lifetime but could be considered underneath.
Race 6
(3) ELECTROFIRE gets some post relief and was second best in back-to-back starts from a similar spot last month. (6) WINDSUN STETSON drops down a notch and hasn't been that bad recently. (1) ITRUSTYOU was a winner the last time he had a catch-driver in the sulky.
Race 7
(7) FROG POND PRINCESS has proven in a short period of time that she belongs with this type; problem here is the post but that will help the price. (1) HEARTS WILD was much-improved last out. (4) ART CRITIC hails from Burke and was a good second when last here.
Race 8
(1) MANIANA was outbattled at the wire by the rugged uncovered winner upon arrival from Canada and she can be even better tonight. (4) ROSY OUTLOOK goes back to Bartlett after stopping on the front end. (6) PLACE TO ROCKNROLL never threatened upon hiking to this level; use underneath.
Race 9
(1) NITRO GLISTENING has raced pretty well in practically every local effort and he draws best in this very weak NW4 field. (2) DEVILS CUT also draws well and should be close up throughout. (3) GOLDEN GESTURE had no chance in his last two local efforts and returns off an even effort out of town.
Race 10
(6) ICTHELIGHT HANOVER ships from Canada, joins the usually live Rohr barn, picks up Bartlett and faces nothing special here. (1) NIP'S BEACH GIRL didn't show much last out but she gets needed post relief. (3) MYDELIGHT BLUECHIP has shown some closing ability in the past.
Race 11
(3) AUTOTUNE HANOVER has never been a consistent sort and is still looking for his first 2016 win but his best effort probably takes this. (1) MIDNIGHT LIGHTNING seems good enough to protect position and sit a live trip. (6) SHANE ADAM tries Bartlett tonight and can kick home nicely.
Race 12
(7) CAVIART SKYLER debuts for the Burke barn and has been racing well versus tougher; worth a try at an expected good price. (5) CRAFTSHIP made good money in the NYSS despite having a poor win record. (2) TRADING UP hasn't raced in a year but he qualified nicely; likely needs a start.
