Race 1
(2) IDEAL CLASSIC is still a maiden but she has been on the improve and she ships in with a post edge on her main contenders. (3) DONT STOP BELIEVIN did win upon arrival for Team Bongiorno but she's missed almost a month; use caution. (7) JK JAZZITUP will surely be firing from the gate with Brennan.
Race 2
(4) MARCED MAGIC was an impressive winner at a juicy price upon arrival from the Iowa fair circuit; we've seen plenty of these horses do well here. (6) WILLIE JOE HILL returns locally for Lachance and was a victim of poor posts in his last few Yonkers starts. (5) MAJOR HUMOR hasn't been awful in his last few and he should be able to land a share.
Race 3
(3) LIVEONTHEPHONE has Dube driving for Svanstedt, always a live angle, and he was a winner three back over this surface. (2) PRETTY BOY SWAG is another midwest shipper for live connections that merits respect. (5) CRUISERWILLWIN just missed locally three back and his last few out of town were decent.
Race 4
(3) NIALL HANOVER won from off the pace three back with Sears driving and followed that up with a couple of even efforts; Roberston trainee figures to be the best price of the contenders. (2) DAVID HIMSELF was a sharp winner two back at Pocono and a similar effort gives him a big chance. (1) DEO GALILEO gets much-needed post relief but it's hard to make a serious case for him at his 9/5 morning line.
Race 5
(1) IDEAL WHEEL finished with good late pace though too late in his latest effort and the post relief makes the Casie Coleman trainee the one to beat. (2) SGT PAPA DADDY shipped from Running Aces, joined the Banca barn and promptly won at odds-on; clearly capable of repeating. (5) HALLIE'S COMET will be closing late for Lachance.
Race 6
(3) FLYMETOTHEMOON raced pretty well in her two local starts for Burke and she will be tough to deny with an easy early lead. (8) AWASH may be the most talented here but the Alagna charge faces an uphill battle from the worst post. (4) DOC'S DIVA moves in a couple of slots and can hit the ticket at a decent price.
Race 7
(3) WINDY SPORT was a clear second best to a good winner last out and the Coleman trainee seems ready to graduate. (4) ABSOLUTELY BEST raced just evenly in last but seems capable of better. (3) SOMESLEAZETOPLEASE will have to step up her game to win here but it's hard to dismiss anything from the Takter barn.
Race 8
(3) MAGIC FORCES made some decent money on the NYSS circuit and may be just a touch faster than these. (1) LUCKY PLAYER was a very game uncovered winner beating lesser last out and the mare is certainly sharp enough to repeat. (2) QUEEN KENDALL has had some decent moments locally this season.
Race 9
(1) SWEETEST EMOTION has been racing well recently in minor stakes events out of town and she returns locally with the best post now in the Croghan barn. (3) QUEEN TO ME jogged versus one notch lesser last out for Alagna. (7) OSPREY BLUE CHIP has raced very gamely in her last three local starts and may sneak into the number despite the poor post.
Race 10
(6) TRAVEL PLAYLIST is lightly raced but has been very good in his last few and the Erv Miller trainee looks like a good fit here. (9) SUMMER SIDE has quietly had a very profitable season for Schnittker but he has to navigate the second tier and I maybe would have liked to have seen a catch driver listed. (7) LAWRENCETOWN BEACH jogged in his local debut and will certianly be firing again.
Race 11
(4) CAVIART REAGAN has been awesome in every start since shipping from Tioga and he's sharp enough to grind out another here. (2) DREAM OF LUCK ships from Canada, joins the Burke barn and is an automatic contender. (3) ANDY'S IDEAL gets needed post relief and should be more involved.
Race 12
(2) WISHY WASHY GIRL was nailed on the wire last out by the pocket sitter; one more chance to take these coast-to-coast. (3) MANIANA has been rather flat in his last couple but she's capable of better. (4) IDEAL PRINCESS has been okay off the Robinson claim and she seems well-spotted to land a share.
