Race 1
(1) JK JAZZITUP jogged from the rail last out at odds-on for DiDomenico and a repeat seems likely, though she faces a couple of interesting rivals tonight. (5) FOOLISH HEART has done nothing wrong in her brief career and looks like the main threat. (8) CHEAP THRILLS raced very willingly last week in her debut for the Bamond barn but she's stuck way outside again tonight.
Race 2
(1) VINTAGE GRAND ships from Canada for Lachance, and they usually don't show up at Yonkers unless the connections think they are worthy; having Brennan drive is a big plus. (2) MR TODAY has been second best in two of his last three and the post relief helps. (5) MAJOR HUMOR didn't race badly last week in a needed start.
Race 3
(4) SGT PAPA DADDY invades from Minnesota, joins a top barn and should be ready to roll looking for six straight. (5) ART MIAMI raced well last week overcoming the eight hole and he moves in a few slots tonight. (8) WILLIE JOE HILL is stuck outside again; Goodell drives tonight and can rally for a piece at a nice price.
Race 4
(6) GOLDEN PARADISE ships from the Midwest in good form and joins the DiDomenico barn; we've seen this angle work before. (1) TAY TAY M ships in for Brad Irvine off two wins, draws best and will likely be aggressive early. (2) GIMME SOME LOVIN gets post relief and adds Lasix.
Race 5
(5) TOUCHMATIC gets major class relief and should have little excuse to fail. (3) MYLITTLESURFERGIRL goes second-time Lasix and gets some post relief; can she step up her game? (1) BURDEN OF PROOF ships from Pennsylvania, draws best and should be a player.
Race 6
(1) SONNY SOMEWHERE stopped pretty badly last out but he gets another chance from an inside post and note the barn change here to Banca. (7) HARRY TERROR gets Bartlett in the bike, who may be able to generate some early speed. (4) HORSING AROUND raced very well in defeat last week and should be a big price here with Steve Smith driving.
Race 7
(5) STEALTH BOMBER probably should have won last week but was outfinished by the undefeated (6) BETTER B ROLLING; I'll give him another chance with the post edge. The latter has been awesome but loses regular pilot Brennan to a Burke trainee. (1) JOE'S BID looks best of the rest from this spot.
Race 8
(1) THE WALL looked very good beating lesser so he may be sharp enough to handle the hike in class. (2) SEMI AUTOMATIC quit on the front end last out but he moves back to Stratton, who won with him in his two prior starts. (4) POINTTOMYGRANSON has been a solid speed player recently in NYSS action.
Race 9
(4) OSPREY BLUE CHIP moved to the Burke barn and won going away last out; seems talented enough to repeat. (2) BESTGIRLFRIENDEVER lands in a good inside spot but seems a bit vulnerable as the morning line choice. (7) ANGELINMYWAY likely has too far to come but will land a good share as always.
Race 10
(1) ANGEL'S PRIDE got beat a nose in the Lady Maud by (4) WORLD APART the last time they were both at Yonkers; I'll give the slight edge to the DiDomenico trainee who might be a slightly better price. (2) WISHY WASHY GIRL was a winner here in 1:52 4/5 a few weeks ago.
Race 11
(2) CHEYENNE SEEBER had no chance last out up in class from the eight hole; he gets needed post relief tonight, will be close up and would be no surprise if he came away with the mild upset. (3) NATIONAL SEELSTER finds an easier spot and may well be the one to beat. (1) HEEZ ORL BLACK N picked up Bartlett and went down the road to beat lesser but will have to be a bit faster tonight.
Race 12
(5) VORACITY put in a huge effort in defeat last week and must be followed off that race. (1) SUNKEN TREASURE raced very well three and four back with Stratton driving. (2) WESTERN JOE ships from Pennsylvania off a nice win and picks up Bartlett.
