DELIGHTFUL SYD ($12,500 Clm FM) - Carried very wide first turn to avoid a breaker, then had to come uncovered and never got close. Excuse that effort.

WHITE RULER ($20,000 Clm) - Closed with plenty of pace from too far back. Debuts for Fraley off the claim.

MODERN DAY CLYDE ($25,000 Clm) - He was uncovered and grinding a long way, battled gamely late to be second best.

MOJARRA HANOVER (NW12000FM) - Set up second over with poor parked-out cover, moved wide, chased the runaway winner and was narrowing the margin late.
