BETTERB CHEVRON N (NW30000FM) - Stacked up with bad cover as the winner was drawing clear, fanned widest and closed with plenty.
VEGAS ROCKS ($40,000 Clm) - Hung the mile from post eight, never got close to the top two but to his credit he held the rest at bay finishing third.
AMERICAN BOY N (NW20000) - Simply had too far to come, narrowed the gap and just missed.
KING CAST (NW5000) - Broke off turn one, recovered near the back, rushed up uncovered, took command and dug in late to prevail...excellent recovery.
ARAMIS N (NW6) - Totally uninvolved most of the way, fanned widest in the stretch, emerged from the fog and was moving so fast he looked like a blur.
LK'S NANCY LEE (Opt. $12.5K Clm FM) - Seemed pretty well-meant off a drop and an ugly line but just faltered late.
BROWN BRINNY (NW10000FM) - Never wins but was clearly second best with good speed at both ends.
