AVATAR J (NW2) - Rideau shipper blasted out from the eight hole but had to tuck third then exploded with a wicked back half to win easily.

D GS ELSA (NW8FM) - Came from off the pace, swung wide into the stretch and closed well.

ODDS ON DELRAY (NW6) - Nice effort where he was uncovered a long way chasing the well-rated winner and was clearly second best.

JACK NATION (NYSS) - Two year old rallied nicely to the leaders, gained unwanted cover, fanned wide and closed well.
