CATCH AN ACE (NW8) - Encountered a horror shuffle when the leader gave way into the final turn, somehow got clear up the rail and exploded home for the improbable win.

CHEVALS CLIVESDALE ($20,000 Clm) - Dropped in for a tag off the long layoff and was sharp in victory. Expect a bump in class.
