NOBLES FINESSE ($30,000 Clm) - Uncovered a long way from 7th and held very gamely for second.

THE LUNCH PAIL (NW20000) - In an impossible spot turning home, searched for room and finished with pace in tight throughout.

SOTO (Open) - Had post eight blues, was content to trail, came wide turning home with plenty of pace.

GET TO DOIN IT (NW15000) - Seemed pretty well-meant but just couldn't fire home off a multiple-move effort.

TESACO DU PONT (NW10000) - Did it Euro-style, parked every step of the added distance at 37/1 yet still prevailed.

BRICKYARD CLASSIC (NW5000) - Managed to get blindswitched for three-eighths of a mile and never got clear in the stretch. I don't know if I've ever seen that before.

MANNY (NW6) - Raced well in his second start off the bench but the winner was too tough.
