Race 1
(3) DUEL IN THE SUN was very sharp from door number eight last out so now the gelding moves inside; should be tough to reel in. (1) CHEYENNE REIJANE did not have enough gas in the tank and folded in the stretch run recently however he was facing tougher; player. (5) BETTER BANGBANG will need a better trip then in his last two trips to the post; possible.
Race 2
(7) GLOBAL REVOLUTION goes back to a flat mile and this seems to be a better spot for this trotter to take these to task. (5) JACKS TO OPEN is knocking at the door based on his last two tries; big threat. (2) WARTECH has hit the board in his last four starts at Saratoga; not out of this.
Race 3
Eight-year-old (4) SWIFT AS A SHADOW rallied in time to get the job done last time out. Pacer is very consistent and has been on the board in all of his eleven trips to the post; primed for the repeat. (3) STARSKYS DREAM N put in an even finish recently for place money; main danger. (2) ACE OF CLUBS moves back down in class and that might be what he needs to make an impact in this event.
Race 4
(3) BLUE SWAN drops in class and the mile distance should help his cause; win candidate. (1) DIZZY RIZZY makes her return to Yonkers where she has the most success; threat. (2) PICTURE THIS gets a good draw for this and he could make some noise against these.
Race 5
(1) PIECE OF THE ROCK moves to the fence seeking his fourth victory of the year and the veteran is not facing any tigers in here; gets the call. (3) WINDS OF CHANGE ran out of gas in his latest but he does have plenty of early zip; the one to catch. (4) ROCK ICON has wheeled off two straight victories against lesser company; can be a factor despite the rise in condition.
Race 6
Pacing mare (6) MACH IT A PAR seems to be heading in the right direction so if the right trip comes her way, she can greet the camera operator for pictures. (4) MEDUSA just missed the victory against lesser company last out; could have a say in the outcome. (8) NEWBORN SASSY got the job done as the chalk last out; post eight hurts but she is very capable.
Race 7
(2) TWINKLE was sharp in her last two tries and just missed the score in her last trip; has tactical speed and could make tonight a winning one with a well-timed run. Based on her last two outings (1) SKIPPIN BY is knocking at the door; consider. (6) ANNABETH will need a favorable trip in order for her to contend with the top two; capable.
Race 8
(1) TYCOON SEELSTER comes by way of Saratoga with a solid resume; stays on the rail and he does have the positional speed to rate and score over this group; the pick. (5) TOBER might find this group to his liking and good to see Bartlett with the drive; factor. (2) SUMATRA took them down the road in his Freehold finale; watch out.
Race 9
Three solid efforts for (2) ONEISALONELYNUMBER and the pacing gelding appears to be ready to return to his winning ways with a well-judged run. (5) TWOMACSONESHADOW was sent down the road in his last trip for all the glory so a repeat effort is not out of the question. (4) MILLIONDOLLAR WAVE has put in four good efforts in a row so he does have every right to put his best foot forward.
Race 10
(2) QUEEN JOSEPHINE leaves the far outside slot for a much better post. Mare does know how to win at the Hilltop and it is good to see Stratton keeping the faith. She can top these at her best. (6) KEYSTONE WANDA moves down the ladder and that should help her cause. (7) JK JAZZITUP had an easy score in her Philly finale; post hurts tonight but she could be right in the mix.
Race 11
(1) THE LAST CHAPTER got the job done upstate recently and now the trotter is back at Yonkers where he beat a tougher group here on 7/29; ready for action. (2) PIERCEWAVE HANOVER took the pocket route on his way to victory last time out against Open foes; main danger. (3) FREDDIE MAC closed strongly to miss the score by a half of a length last time around; do not overlook.
Race 12
(2) THE JOY LUCK CLUB came flying down the lane to loose glory by a neck last time out. Mare might have found a home at the NW$20K ranks and gets the luck of the draw; my selection. (3) CALL ME QUEEN BE was a game winner at this level last time around; player. (4) ALWAYS GIGGLING could be right in the mix with a favorable trip.
