Yonkers: Friday 9/28 Analysis

Best Bet: DEDI'S DRAGON (1st)
Spot Play: ROCK N BLUE (3rd)
MEET STATS: 392 - 1100 / $2,138.10
BEST BETS: 52 - 93 / $170.90
Race 1
(2) DEDI'S DRAGON ran away and hid versus similar last out and he'll be a short price to repeat facing much of the same. (5) BUGSY MAGUIRE held second gamely after being overwhelmed by the top choice and could easily be second best again. (1) ONE AND ONLY fired early at a big price two back before folding then beat cheaper on the engine last week at Pocono; veteran seems to be trending upward.
Race 2
(3) IN SECRET returns to Yonkers off an easy win and fits this NW22000 condition; Burke trainee deserves top billing despite some legit competition. (2) MOSTINTERESTINGMAN has tailed off but gets needed class relief. (4) ANDY RAY also drops from the Open ranks and figures to be more involved.
Race 3
(5) ROCK N BLUE bumped to this level last week and raced very well to be close at the finish; he lacks the class of others but has been sharp and figures to offer a square price. (1) MACINTOSH N drops in class, draws best and may be controlling the action. (4) TEO ENTEO A returns to Yonkers for Stalbaum and has beaten better than these in the past.
Race 4
In a race with some question marks, (7) HORSING AROUND figures to go off at a big price and he's more than proven at this level. Let's see if he can somehow get involved. (2) SWIFT AS A SHADOW has been a model of consistency all year. (1) SGT PAPA DADDY has perked up in his last two.
Race 5
(2) ACE OF CLUBS does bump up a notch off the Brandon Todd claim but was very sharp last week and he keeps Bartlett. (1) FEEL THE NEED A totally tripped out to win last week, and obviously the same thing can happen tonight from this spot. (3) TRACK MASTER didn't fire against better from the second tier off the claim but he's back down to a winning level.
Race 6
(4) MACH IT A PAR was outgamed on the money last week and he's been looking better recently; being inside her main competition helps immensely. (6) MAGIC FORCES could not reach the well-rated winner last but held very gamely for second; Burke trainee is clearly a player. (5) VORST is in top shape and has the speed to be a player.
Race 7
(1) DONGAL RUNDLSCRK N was a winner two back from a similar spot with Vallee driving and now Brennan gets the assignment. (4) DEWAR N SODA has been rather dull recently but she gets Bartlett back in the bike and seems capable of improvement. (2) JK JAZZITUP should be close up throughout from this spot.
Race 8
(3) ANGEL'S PRIDE charged home wide and just missed last out; she picks up Barteltt with Holland opting elsewhere and could trip out from this spot. (4) REGIL ELEKTRA isn't what she once was but she's still a very solid and classy mare; to the front? (7) OCEANIA took lots of tote action last out and closed a ton but had too far to come; she's stuck outside again and figures to be in the same boat.
Race 9
(5) LAKEISHA HALL has been rock-solid for Burke and she returns to Yonkers in a spot where she can do serious damage. (1) ANNABETH usually races as well as she draws, so that bodes well starting from the best post. (4) AGENT Q has plenty of talent but can be erratic at times; tough to take too short of a price on her.
Race 10
(4) ALL ABOUT MADI got good in a hurry a few starts back from off the pace, then was stuck outside for a series of starts; I'll give her the edge with the post relief. (1) CHANGE THE RULZ N takes a needed drop in class and draws best. (3) LOVINEVERYMINUTE jogged in a solid speed effort last week and she's clearly capable of repeating that effort.
